I don't think that would be a good idea.

huck making a good appearance on leno the night before caucus = tons of votes

NO.

It would only make us look bad.

But hopefully, a liberal oriented crowd will boo him or groan when he says something stupid

No, as always please remember we are supposed to act as ambassadors for Paul.

And anyway a simple lack of applause is more effective. ;)

Leno is in Califonia...It ain't Iowa
I wouldn't expect a really warm reception out there

I think good'ol Huckster can crash and burn on his own nicely. I might watch it just for the lulz.

Huck leaving Iowa the night before caucus is horrible publicity.

He's not going to have the crowd that RP did. If you go there he will have a huge crowd and it will look like he's actually got the support the old media says he has.

Maybe Huck will get stuck! Come on ....let it snow, let is snow, let it snow in Iowa. I can dream.
BTW....bad idea. A sign wave for Ron Paul would be fun though.

Dumb idea, we are to be decent revolutionaries if nothing else. We don't need to be a-holes.

What you are suggesting would not hurt Huckabee and if you were wearing anything that looked like you were a Ron Paul supporter, it would hurt our candidate.

I thought about trying to get into the audience and boo huck, but those tickets are hard to come by - they are reserved months in advance.

Radio & TV pundits are already making fun of Huckabee for leaving Iowa to go to California for the Leno Show. So why even bother booing Huckabee.

VoluntaryMan

100 or so Paul supporters in the audience...not booing, but...laughing inappropriately, for instance, every time Hack makes one of his inane policy proposals, or says something he thinks is profound; now, that might make for an eerily awkward (i.e., unproductive) Huckabomb (the bad kind).

Terrible idea. The Huckster is doing a fine job of torpedoing his own campaign. We don't need to give him a scapegoat.

Good job.....Ron Paul couldn't have predidicted it better himself (http://www.kansascity.com/news/breaking_news/story/428425.html)

“I don’t anticipate that it’s crossing a picket line,” said Huckabee. “There’s a sort of dispensation given to the late-night shows, is that right?”

No, that only applied to the shows owned by Letterman’s company Worldwide Pants, which last week brokered a deal with the Writers Guild of America. NBC, which owns Leno’s show, is part of the AMPTP, the negotiating body that broke off talks with the guild on Dec. 7. The two sides are miles apart on residuals for Internet streaming of TV shows and movies, and negotiations aren’t expected to resume anytime soon.

What you are suggesting would not hurt Huckabee and if you were wearing anything that looked like you were a Ron Paul supporter, it would hurt our candidate.

Which is why the Huckabee supporters plan on wearing Ron Paul clothes and doing it themselves.

Seriously, though, this "hurt our candidate" stuff is manufactured by media. Don't buy into it, or you'll just make easier for them to discredit you. Some yahoos can do whatever they want, and it really doesn't reflect on Paul. I'd prefer that nobody do that to anybody, but let's keep in mind that smears are smears and should be called what they are.
