Ron Paul does not advocate the end of government, or religion.

He's Baptist and a constitutionalist.

you mean like humans used to live a few 10's of thousands of years ago? In a total state of nature? no thanks.

Peaceful people can practice whatever religion they wish.

I'm a non-believer, and I don't approve this message one bit...

Religion will never go away, and government is a necessary evil. The only thing you can do is encourage both the great evils to do what they are only useful for... protect liberties and treat people kindly, and to stay out of my business.

IMO, religion is responsible for, or, at the least, deeply involved with, both the worst and the best acts of mankind. And it will always be that way. Yes, without religion, many terrible things might be avoided - but many wonderful things would be lost.
