Two figures who pushed border security and the illegal-alien invasion to the national stage, Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo and Minuteman Project co-founder Jim Gilchrist, stunned many Americans, including this writer who featured both men in my book Fighting Immigration Anarchy: American Patriots Battle to Save the Nation, by endorsing globalists for president just before the January 3 Iowa caucus.
On December 11, Gilchrist announced in Iowa that he was endorsing Republican candidate Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas. Just nine days later in Iowa, on December 20, Tancredo announced that he was dropping out of the GOP primary race and backing Republican Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts.
Despite what Huckabee and Romney tell voters about how they will enforce existing immigration laws and secure U.S. borders, both candidates support amnesty for illegal aliens and are backed by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), which is behind the plot to erase America's borders and create a North American Union.
Why would Tancredo and Gilchrist endorse candidates who support abolishing America?
In between these shocking announcements, there were two other momentous developments in the fight for America. First, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, who has made American independence and sovereignty among his central issues, raised more money in a single day than any other candidate in the history of American politics. Second, Congress betrayed Americans (so what's new?) by gutting the double-layered U.S.-Mexico border fence that was signed into law more than one year ago.
Here's a look at all of these important developments that occurred within a span of just nine days.
Gilchrist and Huckabee
According to Newsmax.com, Gilchrist said the following on December 11, the day of his endorsement: "For months now, I've been searching for a candidate to support for president of the United States." Newsmax wrote that Gilchrist said he chose Huckabee because the former governor's plans were most likely to halt "this illegal immigrant invasion problem."
Searching for months? Best candidate to stop the invasion?
Gilchrist was referring to a new Huckabee immigration plan that appears to be strong on enforcement, but in reality would legalize within a matter of days the more than 20 million illegal aliens currently living in the U.S. The truth is Huckabee has long supported amnesty and open borders, and Gilchrist must have known this fact.
Two weeks before Gilchrist's endorsement, the Washington Times reported that NumbersUSA Executive Director Roy Beck called Huckabee "an absolute disaster on immigration as governor. Every time there was any enforcement in his state, he took the side of the illegal aliens." Read the story here.
Huckabee's record on illegal immigration, which Gilchrist could have found by doing a few minutes of research on the internet, shows that as Arkansas governor he opposed a bill to require proof of citizenship to register to vote, supported in-state college tuition rates for illegal aliens, and went to Mexico in 2003 to ask President Vicente Fox to establish a consulate office in Arkansas. Apparently, Huckabee is under investigation for using taxpayer funds in the consulate deal to assist people in the U.S. illegally.
Huckabee, who lied to the American people about having a degree in theology, continues to support illegals claiming to have entered the U.S. as children with in-state college tuition rates.
Los Angeles resident Brook Young, who calls himself "Immigration Watchdog" and is producing a documentary about illegal immigration, produced a powerful 13-minute video about Gilchrist and Huckabee. The video examines Huckabee's terrible record on illegal immigration and the possible reason behind Gilchrist's bizarre endorsement. Gilchrist reveals that he contacted all of the Democrat and Republican candidates for president, but Huckabee was the only one who returned his call.
The video also looks at accusations by Minuteman Project board members that Gilchrist, a retired CPA, and his friend Steve Eichler embezzled approximately $600,000 from the Minuteman Project's bank account and continue to take tens of thousands of dollars from unsuspecting Americans. A Southern California court has held hearings on the charges and may make a decision in the case in 2008. Young's video is titled "Adios Jim Gilchrist and Mike Huckabee."
For this journalist, I watched how Gilchrist went from being another face in the crowd at Barbara Coe's monthly California Coalition for Immigration Reform meetings, to the national spotlight as co-head of the Minuteman patrols on the Arizona-Mexico border and candidate for Congress, all within a few months in 2005. I covered all of it in the expanded edition of my book in 2006, with a chapter titled "Jim Gilchrist, Chris Simcox, and the Minutemen."
But sudden fame and massive media coverage can bring trouble. Political and financial opportunists quickly surrounded Gilchrist. His problems, and his ego, grew during his congressional campaign and into 2006 and 2007.
In the summer of 2006, the book "Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders" was published, co-authored by Gilchrist and bestselling author Jerome Corsi. But it is clear from reading the book that Corsi wrote it. In small print below Corsi's name are the words "Foreword by Congressman Tom Tancredo." Ironically, the book isn't about the Minutemen.
To his credit, Gilchrist’s Minuteman idea was brilliant, and Minuteman Project co-founders Gilchrist and Simcox played major roles in bringing the crisis of illegal immigration to the national stage in 2005. But they could not have achieved success without the hundreds of brave men and women who stood on the border with them or pioneers such as Glenn Spencer who have been raising America's consciousness for many years.
The truth is Gilchrist was lucky to have come up with the right idea at the right time. Since 2005, Gilchrist has not done much in the fight except make media appearances and promote his book.
Gilchrist once was a general in this war to save America from immigration anarchy and the power-hungry politicians who facilitate it. Gilchrist’s trouble was he thought he was the general. But generals come and go in war, while the fight continues on.
Apparently, Gilchrist's lust for more attention and likely a financial deal brought him to Huckabee.
On top of Huckabee's long-time support for illegal aliens, his bid for presidency is backed by the New York-based Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). For decades CFR globalist elites from banking, industry, government, academia, and the corporate media have been working to convert America into a socialist state, on the path to world government.
The CFR is behind the scheme to erase America's borders by integrating the U.S., Mexico and Canada into a single economic and political union patterned after the European Union by the year 2010, as I have explained numerous times during the past three years in media interviews, at speaking engagements, and in my articles.
On December 21, Europe moved a step closer to full integration with the removal of many of the region's last internal border posts. Several years ago, former Soviet dictator Michail Gorbachev described the European Union as "the new European Soviet." Will a North American Union become the new American Soviet?
The economic and political merger of the U.S., Mexico and Canada began with President Clinton signing the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1993. The social and cultural integration of the U.S. and Mexico began decades ago, thanks to Washington's open-border policies.
In May 2005, the CFR published a report titled "Building a North American Community," which I detailed in the June 2006 edition of my book. In the report, the CFR calls for the "establishment by 2010 of a North American community...defined by a common external tariff and an outer security perimeter." A common external tariff means common taxing for the three countries, and an outer security perimeter means no more U.S. borders.
The CFR report was published just two months after President Bush, Mexican President Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Martin established the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP), which is setting the stage for the 2010 merger, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system.
Billionaire banker-industrialist David Rockefeller is chairman emeritus of the CFR. Rockefeller admitted in his 2002 autobiography "Memoirs" on page 405 that for decades he and his family have been "conspiring with others around the world" to sabotage America and create a world government.
For Americans who still do not believe our "conservative" president, senators and congressmen are merging the U.S. with Mexico and Canada, ask yourself this question: Why have these bureaucrats allowed millions of foreigners, including hundreds of thousands of known criminals and thousands of terrorists, to illegally invade America and remain here more than six years into a "war on terror"?
In December 2004, T. J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, representing U.S. border agents, told a national conference of immigration experts that 10,000 illegal aliens cross our southern border every day.
In October 2006, a congressional report that received virtually no media coverage stated that "as many as 4 million to 10 million illegal aliens crossed into the United States" from Mexico just in 2005. I was one of the first journalists to report the shocking numbers in this article.
Anyone who is being honest can see that the Bush administration's "war on terror" is a fraud, just like the "Patriot Act" and the "Department of Homeland Security," which are really about undermining the liberty and privacy of Americans to prepare for a North American Union. Obviously, Congress is complicit in these unconstitutional acts.
Having been interrogated during a five-day period by FBI and Secret Service agents while I was researching and writing my book, I know how our liberties and privacy are being eroded by the phony "war on terror." I was interviewing Congressman Tancredo in his Capitol Hill office during the week I was interrogated in 2004. Ironically, Tancredo voted for the bills that allowed the agents to deny me certain rights found in our Constitution. I wrote about the interrogation experience in my book's epilogue: "My Vacation with the FBI."
Also ironically, the man charged with protecting America is erasing America. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is one of three Bush cabinet members leading the U.S. "working groups" coordinating the North American merger. The others are Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, one of many CFR members in the administration. I have the 2006 "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America Report to Leaders" signed by those three conspirators that details progress made on the merger. For decades the road to the White House has passed through the Council on Foreign Relations. It is no coincidence that Huckabee's poll numbers, media publicity, and campaign donations, which had been meager before October, jumped after he gave a "foreign policy" speech in Washington on September 28. The speech was about perpetuating and expanding the war in the Middle East and is posted at the CFR website here.
On December 16, Huckabee told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that his foreign policy advisor is CFR President Richard Haass.
The January/February 2007 issue of the CFR's journal, Foreign Affairs, includes an article written by Huckabee titled "America's Priorities in the War on Terror: Islamists, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan."
Again, if the Bush administration and Congress were truly fighting a "war on terror," why have they allowed millions of foreigners to illegally invade America and remain here since 9/11? Since it is clear that the "war on terror" is a fraud, why did the U.S. government invade and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq? Why are Washington politicians allowing thousands of brave American soldiers to die and tens of thousands to come home seriously injured? Why is there constant talk in Washington of wanting to expand the war to neighboring countries?
Is globlist Huckabee the man Americans want for president — someone who supports amnesty for illegal aliens, erasing our borders and independence with a North American Union, and escalating war in the Middle East?
The CFR-approved slate of presidential candidates also includes Senator Hillary Clinton, former Senator John Edwards, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Senator Barak Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, and former Governor Mitt Romney. Senator John McCain and Hollywood actor and former Senator Fred Thompson are CFR members.
Tancredo and Romney
In my book's 38-page chapter on Congressman Tancredo, believed to be the longest essay ever published about him, I wrote that since Tancredo went to Congress in 1999 he has done more than anyone else in the House or Senate to push border security and massive illegal and legal immigration to the forefront of national attention.
By running for president mostly on the theme of fighting illegal immigration, Tancredo forced the other candidates to take a stand, earning him applause from many Americans and frustration from the pro-amnesty candidates and corporate media.
On December 20, just nine days after Gilchrist endorsed Huckabee, Tancredo announced at a news conference in Iowa that he was dropping out of the presidential race and backing Romney.
Tancredo said he could not win the contest and that Romney "is the best hope for our cause" of battling illegal immigration. Tancredo said he had a detailed conversation with Romney before making his endorsement. He praised Romney's record and commitments on the immigration crisis.
Tancredo said he feared that if he, Tancredo, remained in the race it could lead to a victory by a candidate such as Huckabee or McCain, who Tancredo said have "abysmal" records on illegal immigration.
So why did Tancredo back Romney who stated on NBC's "Meet the Press" on December 16, just four days before the endorsement, that illegal aliens "should be able to sign up for permanent residency or citizenship"? Watch interview.
Those comments alone should have told Tancredo that Romney was no better than the "abysmal" Huckabee and McCain. It seems more than reasonable to assume that Tancredo, or his campaign manager Bay Buchanan, the sister of Pat Buchanan, knew about the interview before making the endorsement.
Also, why would Tancredo praise Romney'srecord on illegal immigration as governor of Massachusetts from 2002-2006? Romney took no action against sanctuary cities in his state.
"During [Romney's] tenure, at least four Massachusetts cities enacted or renewed legislation declaring themselves sanctuaries for illegal immigrants," according to FactCheck.org. "Brookline and Cambridge reaffirmed their longtime status as sanctuary cities in so many words. Somerville and Orleans didn't officially deem themselves 'sanctuaries,' but Somerville affirmed its 'long-standing policies in support of all immigrants,' while Orleans forbade city officials from turning in illegal immigrants without probable cause." I confirmed this information with two reliable sources in Massachusetts.
Also, it was not until the closing days of Romney's administration, when he was preparing his presidential bid, that Romney authorized state police to enforce immigration laws. However, the order never took effect and was immediately rescinded by his successor, Deval Patrick, as expected.
Romney's action was obviously contrived, so why would Tancredo trust him?
In addition, why would Tancredo trust Romney after it was reported that he hired a landscaping company that employed illegal aliens?
Furthermore, why would Tancredo endorse a candidate backed by the Council on Foreign Relations, which is working to abolish America? In an article by Romney and titled "Rising to a New Generation of Global Challenges," published in the CFR's July/August 2007 issue of Foreign Affairs, Romney urges Congress and the president to "expand and integrate our free-trade agreements" in the Middle East.
Globalists used "free trade agreements" and open borders to integrate the countries of Europe and create the European Union. The same approach is being used to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada to create a North American Union, with a single government and currency.
Since Romney supports the integration of countries in the Middle East, according to the CFR article, it makes sense that he supports the North American merger scheme. Along with the European Union, all of it leads to world government.
Now perhaps you can see why the Bush administration sent America's finest to fight and die in Afghanistan and Iraq and refuses to bring them home, and why there is continuing talk of expanding the war to neighboring countries. It is all about the "new world order," a phrase the first President Bush used when he was president from 1988-1992. The expression has been used for generations by individuals seeking to control the world through socialism, step by step, in a deceptive and gradual process.
I asked a number of people to comment on the surprising Tancredo endorsement. Most people I spoke with were shocked and terribly disappointed. Some were not surprised. Among the responses:
· Tancredo believes Romney is better than Huckabee or McCain on illegal immigration. He endorsed the man he thought was the lesser of three evils. But evil is still evil.
· Tancredo wanted to take votes away from Ron Paul because he strongly disagrees with him on several major issues. Tancredo supports Bush's ongoing war in Iraq and has voted for federal police powers and expansion of executive authority in the name of fighting the "war on terror." Paul wants to stop giving U.S. financial aid to Middle Eastern countries and bring our troops home. Paul has voted against bills threatening privacy and personal liberty such as a national ID card system and the Patriot Act and would work to overturn such bills as president.
· Tancredo didn't have to endorse anyone when he bowed out of the race, so why did he endorse Romney?
· Tancredo's campaign manager is Bay Buchanan, a Mormon, just like Romney. She pressed Tancredo to do it.
· Romney made a commitment to assist Tancredo should he choose to run for office again. [Tancredo recently announced that he was not running for reelection in the House.]
Whatever the reason, Tom Tancredo, the man who has done more than any other political figure to force the immigration debate to the front burner endorsed a presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, who supports amnesty and wants the U.S. government to integrate sovereign nations.
Ron Paul Raises Millions
On December 16 and in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party that ignited the series of events that led to American independence, a cross-section of grassroots supporters gave Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul more than $6 million. No candidate in American politics has ever raised more money in a single day.
Paul raised approximately $20 million in the October-December 2007 period, expected to be more than any of the other Republican candidates, yet the mainstream media call him a "second-tier candidate" and a "kook."
In his 10-term career in the House of Representatives, Paul has never voted for a bill unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the U.S. Constitution, setting him apart from all other congressmen and senators in recent decades. During his presidential campaign Paul has made American independence and sovereignty and opposition to the North American Union among his central issues.
In September 2006, Paul was one of four congressmen, including Tancredo, to introduce a resolution opposing the North American Union and construction of the NAFTA Superhighway system that would connect the three countries and destroy our economy. I issued a news release about the resolution in January 2007 that you can read here. Today, more than 40 congressmen have co-sponsored the resolution. However, the major media still call the merger and superhighway "conspiracy theories."
As president, Paul says he would oppose amnesty, physically secure U.S. borders and coastlines, end birthright citizenship, end welfare for illegal aliens, enforce visa rules, and restore the rule of law. Read his immigration plan here.

Congress Guts Border Fence
On December 19, Congress clearly showed that the "war on terror" is a fraud and that the real goal is to erase borders and expand the empire.
On that day, the day before Tancredo endorsed Romney, Congress passed a 3,500-page, $555-billion spending bill eliminating the requirement to build a double-layered fence spanning 854 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border that Congress approved and President Bush signed into law just before the November 2006 mid-term election.
In the same bill, Congress passed $70 billon in new spending for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, without a timetable for withdrawal.
While Americans were busy shopping for Christmas, Congress gutted the Secure Fence Act of 2006 and allow Homeland Security to build a single-tier barrier rather than the two-tier version with a Border Patrol road in between that has worked so well in stopping the invasion of people on the San Diego border for many years.
Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter of San Diego, a candidate for president, was instrumental in pushing through construction of the San Diego fence and also wrote the Secure Fence Act of 2006. Hunter recently said that as president he would build the 854 miles of double-layered fencing in six months.
In the 14 months since Bush signed the Secure Fence Act only five miles of double-layered fencing have been constructed by Homeland Security.

In gutting the fence on December 19, Congress also decided to give Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff full discretion in deciding what kind of fence to build and where to build it. This is the same Chertoff coordinating the North American merger, as I explained earlier in this article, so do not expect him to build a fence that will stop the invasion.
Instead, Chertoff and others are working to force nationwide compliance with the "Read ID Act of 2005." The goal is erased borders and mandatory biometric ID cards for all North American residents.
On December 26, the Los Angeles Timespublished a front-page story by reporter Marla Dickerson titled "U.S. less alluring to illegal migrants." The story says, "American authorities are installing hundreds of miles of new fencing along the southern border." It was published seven days after Congress gutted the fence.
What do you expect from a member of the mainstream media that is controlled by a powerful elite and strongly supports open borders? The truth? There's no need to awaken the masses to another betrayal by Congress in the fight for American sovereignty and independence.

In the report, the CFR calls for the "establishment by 2010 of a North American community...defined by a common external tariff and an outer security perimeter." A common external tariff means common taxing for the three countries, and an outer security perimeter means no more U.S. borders.
The CFR report was published just two months after President Bush, Mexican President Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Martin established the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP), which is setting the stage for the 2010 merger, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system.
Billionaire banker-industrialist David Rockefeller is chairman emeritus of the CFR. Rockefeller admitted in his 2002 autobiography "Memoirs" on page 405 that for decades he and his family have been "conspiring with others around the world" to sabotage America and create a world government.
For Americans who still do not believe our "conservative" president, senators and congressmen are merging the U.S. with Mexico and Canada, ask yourself this question: Why have these bureaucrats allowed millions of foreigners, including hundreds of thousands of known criminals and thousands of terrorists, to illegally invade America and remain here more than six years into a "war on terror"?
In December 2004, T. J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, representing U.S. border agents, told a national conference of immigration experts that 10,000 illegal aliens cross our southern border every day.
In October 2006, a congressional report that received virtually no media coverage stated that "as many as 4 million to 10 million illegal aliens crossed into the United States" from Mexico just in 2005. I was one of the first journalists to report the shocking numbers in this article.
Anyone who is being honest can see that the Bush administration's "war on terror" is a fraud, just like the "Patriot Act" and the "Department of Homeland Security," which are really about undermining the liberty and privacy of Americans to prepare for a North American Union. Obviously, Congress is complicit in these unconstitutional acts.
Having been interrogated during a five-day period by FBI and Secret Service agents while I was researching and writing my book, I know how our liberties and privacy are being eroded by the phony "war on terror." I was interviewing Congressman Tancredo in his Capitol Hill office during the week I was interrogated in 2004. Ironically, Tancredo voted for the bills that allowed the agents to deny me certain rights found in our Constitution. I wrote about the interrogation experience in my book's epilogue: "My Vacation with the FBI."
Also ironically, the man charged with protecting America is erasing America. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is one of three Bush cabinet members leading the U.S. "working groups" coordinating the North American merger. The others are Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, one of many CFR members in the administration. I have the 2006 "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America Report to Leaders" signed by those three conspirators that details progress made on the merger. For decades the road to the White House has passed through the Council on Foreign Relations. It is no coincidence that Huckabee's poll numbers, media publicity, and campaign donations, which had been meager before October, jumped after he gave a "foreign policy" speech in Washington on September 28. The speech was about perpetuating and expanding the war in the Middle East and is posted at the CFR website here.
On December 16, Huckabee told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that his foreign policy advisor is CFR President Richard Haass.
The January/February 2007 issue of the CFR's journal, Foreign Affairs, includes an article written by Huckabee titled "America's Priorities in the War on Terror: Islamists, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan."
Again, if the Bush administration and Congress were truly fighting a "war on terror," why have they allowed millions of foreigners to illegally invade America and remain here since 9/11? Since it is clear that the "war on terror" is a fraud, why did the U.S. government invade and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq? Why are Washington politicians allowing thousands of brave American soldiers to die and tens of thousands to come home seriously injured? Why is there constant talk in Washington of wanting to expand the war to neighboring countries?
Is globlist Huckabee the man Americans want for president — someone who supports amnesty for illegal aliens, erasing our borders and independence with a North American Union, and escalating war in the Middle East?
The CFR-approved slate of presidential candidates also includes Senator Hillary Clinton, former Senator John Edwards, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Senator Barak Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, and former Governor Mitt Romney. Senator John McCain and Hollywood actor and former Senator Fred Thompson are CFR members.
Tancredo and Romney
In my book's 38-page chapter on Congressman Tancredo, believed to be the longest essay ever published about him, I wrote that since Tancredo went to Congress in 1999 he has done more than anyone else in the House or Senate to push border security and massive illegal and legal immigration to the forefront of national attention.
By running for president mostly on the theme of fighting illegal immigration, Tancredo forced the other candidates to take a stand, earning him applause from many Americans and frustration from the pro-amnesty candidates and corporate media.
On December 20, just nine days after Gilchrist endorsed Huckabee, Tancredo announced at a news conference in Iowa that he was dropping out of the presidential race and backing Romney.
Tancredo said he could not win the contest and that Romney "is the best hope for our cause" of battling illegal immigration. Tancredo said he had a detailed conversation with Romney before making his endorsement. He praised Romney's record and commitments on the immigration crisis.
Tancredo said he feared that if he, Tancredo, remained in the race it could lead to a victory by a candidate such as Huckabee or McCain, who Tancredo said have "abysmal" records on illegal immigration.
So why did Tancredo back Romney who stated on NBC's "Meet the Press" on December 16, just four days before the endorsement, that illegal aliens "should be able to sign up for permanent residency or citizenship"? Watch interview.
Those comments alone should have told Tancredo that Romney was no better than the "abysmal" Huckabee and McCain. It seems more than reasonable to assume that Tancredo, or his campaign manager Bay Buchanan, the sister of Pat Buchanan, knew about the interview before making the endorsement.
Also, why would Tancredo praise Romney'srecord on illegal immigration as governor of Massachusetts from 2002-2006? Romney took no action against sanctuary cities in his state.
"During [Romney's] tenure, at least four Massachusetts cities enacted or renewed legislation declaring themselves sanctuaries for illegal immigrants," according to FactCheck.org. "Brookline and Cambridge reaffirmed their longtime status as sanctuary cities in so many words. Somerville and Orleans didn't officially deem themselves 'sanctuaries,' but Somerville affirmed its 'long-standing policies in support of all immigrants,' while Orleans forbade city officials from turning in illegal immigrants without probable cause." I confirmed this information with two reliable sources in Massachusetts.
Also, it was not until the closing days of Romney's administration, when he was preparing his presidential bid, that Romney authorized state police to enforce immigration laws. However, the order never took effect and was immediately rescinded by his successor, Deval Patrick, as expected.
Romney's action was obviously contrived, so why would Tancredo trust him?
In addition, why would Tancredo trust Romney after it was reported that he hired a landscaping company that employed illegal aliens?
Furthermore, why would Tancredo endorse a candidate backed by the Council on Foreign Relations, which is working to abolish America? In an article by Romney and titled "Rising to a New Generation of Global Challenges," published in the CFR's July/August 2007 issue of Foreign Affairs, Romney urges Congress and the president to "expand and integrate our free-trade agreements" in the Middle East.
Globalists used "free trade agreements" and open borders to integrate the countries of Europe and create the European Union. The same approach is being used to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada to create a North American Union, with a single government and currency.
Since Romney supports the integration of countries in the Middle East, according to the CFR article, it makes sense that he supports the North American merger scheme. Along with the European Union, all of it leads to world government.
Now perhaps you can see why the Bush administration sent America's finest to fight and die in Afghanistan and Iraq and refuses to bring them home, and why there is continuing talk of expanding the war to neighboring countries. It is all about the "new world order," a phrase the first President Bush used when he was president from 1988-1992. The expression has been used for generations by individuals seeking to control the world through socialism, step by step, in a deceptive and gradual process.
I asked a number of people to comment on the surprising Tancredo endorsement. Most people I spoke with were shocked and terribly disappointed. Some were not surprised. Among the responses:
· Tancredo believes Romney is better than Huckabee or McCain on illegal immigration. He endorsed the man he thought was the lesser of three evils. But evil is still evil.
· Tancredo wanted to take votes away from Ron Paul because he strongly disagrees with him on several major issues. Tancredo supports Bush's ongoing war in Iraq and has voted for federal police powers and expansion of executive authority in the name of fighting the "war on terror." Paul wants to stop giving U.S. financial aid to Middle Eastern countries and bring our troops home. Paul has voted against bills threatening privacy and personal liberty such as a national ID card system and the Patriot Act and would work to overturn such bills as president.
· Tancredo didn't have to endorse anyone when he bowed out of the race, so why did he endorse Romney?
· Tancredo's campaign manager is Bay Buchanan, a Mormon, just like Romney. She pressed Tancredo to do it.
· Romney made a commitment to assist Tancredo should he choose to run for office again. [Tancredo recently announced that he was not running for reelection in the House.]
Whatever the reason, Tom Tancredo, the man who has done more than any other political figure to force the immigration debate to the front burner endorsed a presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, who supports amnesty and wants the U.S. government to integrate sovereign nations.
Ron Paul Raises Millions
On December 16 and in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party that ignited the series of events that led to American independence, a cross-section of grassroots supporters gave Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul more than $6 million. No candidate in American politics has ever raised more money in a single day.
Paul raised approximately $20 million in the October-December 2007 period, expected to be more than any of the other Republican candidates, yet the mainstream media call him a "second-tier candidate" and a "kook."
In his 10-term career in the House of Representatives, Paul has never voted for a bill unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the U.S. Constitution, setting him apart from all other congressmen and senators in recent decades. During his presidential campaign Paul has made American independence and sovereignty and opposition to the North American Union among his central issues.
In September 2006, Paul was one of four congressmen, including Tancredo, to introduce a resolution opposing the North American Union and construction of the NAFTA Superhighway system that would connect the three countries and destroy our economy. I issued a news release about the resolution in January 2007 that you can read here. Today, more than 40 congressmen have co-sponsored the resolution. However, the major media still call the merger and superhighway "conspiracy theories."
As president, Paul says he would oppose amnesty, physically secure U.S. borders and coastlines, end birthright citizenship, end welfare for illegal aliens, enforce visa rules, and restore the rule of law. Read his immigration plan here.

Congress Guts Border Fence
On December 19, Congress clearly showed that the "war on terror" is a fraud and that the real goal is to erase borders and expand the empire.
On that day, the day before Tancredo endorsed Romney, Congress passed a 3,500-page, $555-billion spending bill eliminating the requirement to build a double-layered fence spanning 854 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border that Congress approved and President Bush signed into law just before the November 2006 mid-term election.
In the same bill, Congress passed $70 billon in new spending for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, without a timetable for withdrawal.
While Americans were busy shopping for Christmas, Congress gutted the Secure Fence Act of 2006 and allow Homeland Security to build a single-tier barrier rather than the two-tier version with a Border Patrol road in between that has worked so well in stopping the invasion of people on the San Diego border for many years.
Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter of San Diego, a candidate for president, was instrumental in pushing through construction of the San Diego fence and also wrote the Secure Fence Act of 2006. Hunter recently said that as president he would build the 854 miles of double-layered fencing in six months.
In the 14 months since Bush signed the Secure Fence Act only five miles of double-layered fencing have been constructed by Homeland Security.

In gutting the fence on December 19, Congress also decided to give Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff full discretion in deciding what kind of fence to build and where to build it. This is the same Chertoff coordinating the North American merger, as I explained earlier in this article, so do not expect him to build a fence that will stop the invasion.
Instead, Chertoff and others are working to force nationwide compliance with the "Read ID Act of 2005." The goal is erased borders and mandatory biometric ID cards for all North American residents.
On December 26, the Los Angeles Timespublished a front-page story by reporter Marla Dickerson titled "U.S. less alluring to illegal migrants." The story says, "American authorities are installing hundreds of miles of new fencing along the southern border." It was published seven days after Congress gutted the fence.
What do you expect from a member of the mainstream media that is controlled by a powerful elite and strongly supports open borders? The truth? There's no need to awaken the masses to another betrayal by Congress in the fight for American sovereignty and independence.
