Ok folks, we are going crazy here at the campaign in Iowa and still have a TON of things to get done before the 3ed. We have 30 people phone calling non-stop, a mobile phone calling system with 200 phones. and over 30 labtops working nonstop here. We have to oursource some of our burden or we will have trouble winning this state. I have a huge phone calling list that I need done TODAY, and I need people who have time from 4:00 - 8:00 to call some Iowans... If you send me your email on this forum, I will send you a Google spreadsheet with contact information that you can update. If you find a support, add a Y to the end. If it is a Supporter who is going to Cacus, put CY
N is not a supporter
N/a is no answer
disc is disconect

As for a script, this is what I say:

Hello is _____ there? HEY _______! My name is Corey Walsh and i've traveled all the way from Arkansas to help out with the Ron Paul campaign, may I have moment of your time? (sure) ok... If you could dictate to the next pres. of the United states one thing, what would it be? Oh really! Well Ron Paul...

Also, add in if they are vets, and or want to help count the vote.

Please, I need a lot of people for this. If you want a list. Post your email.

Are you guys at HQ aware of the call4paul operation? (Just curious)

I think they've been calling Iowans for a while now.

Yes, but these are uploaded to our database and we work with them from there.... We do alot more with our lists once we get them back.

Landon, you will reach a lot more active campaigners if you get the word out to the meetup groups. Most on here sadly seem to be more interested in discussing. Nothing wrong with discussing, but it will take the do-ers to win this thing.

I'm sending it to my meetup groups, now.

I got 8 precincts worth of numbers from Jeff and they are distributed among the DFW meetup members who have been calling for the last week. This is the first I've heard of google spreadsheets and I'm not sure I want to mess with what my people are already doing but if you need us doing something modified let me know.

I think they've been calling Iowans for a while now.

Our calls require people, and information about the caller to be entered.

I might have some time. How many people are we talking about? Do we have any info about what issues they're interested in?

Folks! This is SOOOOOO much more IMPORTANT than what Alex Jones is saying or getting that YouTube of Dr. Paul on MSNbc!

If you can't help out with the phone calls, AT LEAST help keep this thread at the top!

CAN YOU TASTE IT?

DOES IT OCCUPY EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR WAKING DAY?

ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK FOR IT?

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?

ok got mine...ill start calling at 4 or so...

So what does it mean if there is a G or g under Gun? I figure it is like a G if they support his views or something, but i wanted to clarify what all the columns mean so i know what is more important to them

Big G means that guns rights is a very important issue to them. Little g means it's a concern for them, but maybe not their most important concern.

If more than one, then the capitalized one is the most important issue to that voter.

I sent a request to "solarphoto@gmail.com" which appeared on another
thread.

Is that a correct one?
I also sent a Private Message to the originator of this thread "Landon" but
I haven't gotten anything yet.
I wish this had been done earlier. I could have done phone calls for weeks.

I'm guessing that the information about the voters is to be entered into column W? (after MailZip + 4).

austin4paul

Is the column for "Vol" a current Ron Paul volunteer? Do you need them called today or just tomorrow to get them to turn out?

You can PM me the answer if you want.

You sent me 600+ names and phone numbers.
That's a lot to do in 4 hours.
That's 150+ an hour.
That's 2.5 calls a minute, or one call every 20-25 seconds.

Perhaps there are other people working on this same list?

If so, does this google spreadsheet update in real time so that
we don't call the same 10-50 people over and over?

Also, what exactly do these codes mean?

Conservativism 9, Conn. !!!,

and what exactly does disconnect mean?
Does it mean the recorded message "this phone has been disconnected"
or does it mean they hung up on you?

And where exactly does the information about vets and helping count the votes go?

A lot of people seem to be tired of getting political calls...

I understand this is important, but these people have been bombarded for a week, I honestly feel bad calling these people after they tell me this is the 5th political call they have had today

Ronin
01-02-2008, 04:47 PM
Yes, but think how encouraging it would be if you were a RP supporter. I mean the average supporter is probably thinking right now that there may be no point in caucusing and/or considering caucusing for Obama.

I was wondering what to put if the person is undecided. Might be caucusing, not sure who for?

I'm putting CU for Caucus Undecided.
If you want me to change it before i send it back I will.

I just thought that
yes ron paul
caucus ron paul
no ron paul weren't the full range of responses.
