With about 85% http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=68161 of this forum's participants in favor of a phone blitz on Fox News, the BLITZ IS ON! The only thing that will preclude the blitz is if Fox News announces that Ron Paul will be included in the 1/6/08 forum.

Here's how the blitz will work: Calls should be made between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm EST on 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4. If you get a busy signal, try another number from the list below. Let them know how you feel about Fox excluding Ron Paul from the 1/6 candidate forum. Be polite, professional, but assertive. (My thanks to liberty_Forever for the contact info!). The more calls made, the more successful the blitz will be. Our goal is that the people on the list below won't be able to pick up their phone without a Ron Paul supporter being on the other end.

Guys... once Ron wins Iowa, Fox will have committed suicide and their game is OVER.
Don't even bother wasting your energy on those mountebanks.

Had a couple of those - most work though. Zero out if a mailbox is full and check the subforum for "Fox" for more numbers. Everyone reading this should make at least 30 calls into Fox today.

Spoke with John Moody's assistant. I was very professional, and she was very sweet. She's keeping a "tally" and says John is well aware of the issue (and that I was not the first call on this matter). I'm not going to call her again, because I think that would be rude, but I recommend this number as a particularly good one for us to each call once.

* John Moody, Sen VP News
o Phone: 212-301-8560

Are you going to cry when he takes 3rd or 4th? NH is where we stand our ground and that's why this is JOB #1.

In the old west someone would have called you "yellow" for that statement. Don't accept injustice!

Just called Moody's office and the assistant told me the same thing about keeping a tally.

I also informed her that the boycotting was dead serious and gave her a few examples. She was very nice and I was too. :)

Just had a 5 minute conversation with the man, he was polite but claimed that one person had sent over 150 emails to him. He claims fox based thier decision on national polls and admitted they don't take into account cell phones.

KEEP IT POLITE PLEASE but this is working!

David Asman doesn't work for Fox any longer but it was a pleasure to speak with him. He seems to be getting over a hundred calls an hour. As of now most of the mailboxes I''ve called all FULL. lol

Just spoke to John Moody's assistant as well. I was very cordial and inquisitive and she was cordial as well. She said the decision is being considered and they are aware of it and it is based on the polls. I asked if the results from Iowa were going to influence the decision and she said "I am sure they will". I feel sorry for her as I am sure she is answering the same questions all day long but as long as we are respectful I see nothing wrong in having everybody call.

Please keep it polite! Being vulgar or threatening only hurts Ron Paul. Tell them who you are, where you are calling from and make your case. They aren't interested in anonymous spammers but they will talk to real people who give them courtsey.

As far as I am concerned, we don't have to waste our energy doing this. If Ron Paul gets 3rd in Iowa, and FOX excludes them, they'll look *fucking ridiculous* in their own right.

I called all the numbers given and the recent ones. They answer but quickly transfer you to more bullshit which gives little options.

I don't feel this was a waste of time since doing nothing about this exculsion shows apathy. No, I won't settle for third since I feel he can win both Iowa and NH

I completely agree, what harm would it cause if the callers are polite and expressing their opinions? Keep up the good work!!

As a successful marketing professional, I can tell you that phone calls DO matter to the media! Viewers are their bread and butter. If they're not doing what appeals to their viewers and consequently lose them, then they can't attract advertisers. If they can't attract advertisers, they go out of business.

Tell them nicely that you will no longer be watching their station and that you're letting your business associates, clients, colleagues, family, friends, and relatives know about their sneaky exclusion of Ron Paul--rigged polls or not--and that you'll consider reversing your decision if they reverse theirs.

I had a very nice chat with Mr. Moody's assistant. I told her that I don't take the word "censorship" lightly. I expressed my displeasure. As stated before, she said that the criteria for inclusion was poll numbers. I told her that we all know that those numbers are statistically flawed.

I asked her who was the final decision maker regarding this so called "forum ." She said that Mr. Moody was it. Press him.

She sounded very tired, but was pleasant, as I was.

Keep it up.

Go with doc.
