When will we know the results of the Iowa Caucus?

There have been a few threads on this and I think the consensus is that it will be later that night or the next morning. :)

My understanding is that they would definitely have the results the night of the caucus. I would anticipate they would have them before 10pm.

are the results from exit polling or an actual count?

Should be the actual count. All the precinct votes should be phoned in by 8pm so all that is left after that is to tabulate them.
