i almost forgot, Fox news channel (not the locals, the national) will be broadcasting results as they come in form our local results in Linn county Iowa at the Longbranch Hotel and Conference Center, (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?latlongtype=internal&addtohistory=&latitude=1F%2bp0aoK2wcbcvatvVwkrg%3d%3d&longitude=NN4kNpLElfdAYvop6l5B2A%3d%3d&name=Best%20Western%20Longbranch%20Hotel&country=US&address=90%20Twixt%20Town%20Rd%20NE&city=Cedar%20Rapids&state=IA&zipcode=52402&phone=319%2d377%2d6386&spurl=0&&q=longbranch&qc=Hotels%20%26%20Motels) 90 Twixt Town Road NE, Cedar Rapids .

i was hoping i could vote and run as a delegate for RP but if there are any out of staters in the area, they may be able to grab some face time with signs about this electioneering. someone please give me some ideas for a sign that i can unfold if they go live (assuming i can make it there in time).

Will this be "actual results"...or "exit polling"

...I have a feeling it will be exit polling. It will be skewed :(

Fox News is doing everything it can to steal the election.

im not sure, the head of the local gop mentioned it at their last meeting back in November that FOX news would have a reporter with live results and updates on caucus night, i forgot all about it until the recent fox news shenanigans. the local were excited about the live updates on national tv. this may be a good way to embarrass them when they go to their live shots.

Maybe we could watch the results on say -- CNN?

Forgive my ignorance, but why would the exit polls be skewed?

Because the actual results are final and an "exit polling" can be made out to be bullshit. Like When Fox "Accidentally" said George W Bush had won Florida when he actually had not, at the time.

i.e. jumping the gun. Influencing people "accidentally".

yeah and that BS announcement of the W for georgie was an attempt to manipulate the election by keeping those in W. Florida to not vote since the polls were not yet closed.

Wrong!!! that is abhorrant to the constitution....

What should happen is that AMERICANS punish them for wrongdoing (which tends to "train" you to not do it anymore).

Dole out the PUNISHMENT but let them have free speach. It's a matter of "personal responsibility" based on FACTS or their antithesis (the stuff you get from LUNTZ and CO. (conjecture, smear, smoke and mirrors).

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....or else you get PUNISHED.

lol I can totally see this happening:

if Ron gets 3rd,

they'll show the poll results but no "1st place" "2nd place"
it'd just be like

Romney
Huckabee
McCain
Thompson
Giuliani

and not mention Paul or Hunter or Keyes. They wouldn't put 1. 2. 4. because they'd obviously leave out the 3.

Or, as another user on these forums imagined:
something like this :D

1. Romney 26%
2. Huckabee 24%
3. Other 17%
4. McCain 11%

:D

it's hilarious, yet very sad. :(
