Under "Civil Liberties" it lists Ron Paul as supporting electronic wiretapping without warrant and then a few other times it says RP doesn't support wiretapping without warrant.

Where? We need to notify them of that error and get them to correct that ASAP.

is that map correct when it shows that Ron only has 15 visits to iowa??? the least of all the candidates from what i saw. I wish he would spend more time there since that is all those folks seem to care about is face time.

The Des Moines Register did a poll of Iowa Republicans last spring. I believe that the result was that 52% of Republicans wanted troops to withdraw from Iraq in six months. The poll, however, was taken before the Administration's surge propaganda. However, I think a large number of Iowa Republicans, perhaps around 40-50% want the troops home soon.

We should score points on McCain by asking how long the surge is going to last and when the troops will come home. All he has said from what I can tell is the same thing Bush has said, the 'however long it takes' non-answer.

I wish, as a minister, I could remind people that even things like the political tricks the Media ect play, are part of their judgment before The Lord.

Basically, they may be attempting to harm Dr Paul in this election, however,

the eventual harm will be to themselves in the common term of "Heavenly Rewards".

Here's a more recent Iowa poll, showing that 48% of Republicans there want troops brought home from Iraq within the next 6 months:

4. Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States military from Iraq within the next six months? (Republicans Only)
Yes 48%
No 40%
Undecided 12%

Compare the answer on the right to privacy as given by Ron Paul and Romney...

Ron
Paul - R
Video: Do you believe there is a constitutional right to privacy?

"Absolutely, we do have. That's essentially what liberty is is privacy. If you look at the Fourth Amendment, I think they're emphasizing the fact that people should have a private life.
I'm disturbed by the fact that our government in recent years, if not in recent decades, that we have moved toward the most important thing that our government does is protect the secrecy of government. And, you know, if they have a bill that talks about financial privacy, it means government secrecy and invasion of personal privacy. So, right now, personal privacy is being attacked. The role of the federal government, in particular, or any government, should be to protect privacy privacy of the individual. And, we should work very hard, unless it's extremely close to national-security reasons, that government should be open. There should not be secrecy in government."

Mitt
Romney - R
Video: Do you believe there is a constitutional right to privacy?

"Well, the Supreme Court has so defined a constitutional right. I don't see it in the Constitution itself.
I think it's a stretch beyond the bounds of the Constitution itself. We follow precedent, however, that's been established by the Supreme Court, so that has a certain rule of precedent, but I think we're better off by strictly following the Constitution as it existed and as it was brought forward. And, if we think there's a need for a new right, then going to the people or their elected representatives to establish that right rather than having judges, from their heart or their own mind, establishing new rights and new laws. It's not for judges to legislate or to create a new Constitution. That's something that only the people and their elected representatives should be able to do."

"I don't see it in the Constitution itself." What the HELL is this? Please save us from Romney if he can't see the right to privacy in the Constitution. This guy is pathological.

It was Strategic Vision who was polling the question monthly. For 4 consecutive months, August thru November, the poll came back that over 50% of Iowa Republicans favored a troop withdrawal from Iraq within 6 months... with the specific figure of 54% in the November poll.
