Only 710 people need to give $10 to raise the money to keep the blimp flying another 2.5 weeks. That seems well worth it to me, and I'm willing to donate ten dollars. It just generated publicity in Houston on the front page where it isn't even flying. Furthermore, it will be a little disappointing to have it end on New Years Eve. It may even generated some bad publicity if it fails right before the Iowa caucus.
In fact, it seems to me it would be fun to donate to it on New Years Eve.
New Year's Eve, a blimp, and a toast!
Well worth it. Only 710 people need to donate $10!
