Sorry guys. Only $175 in the last 10 minutes. This deadline will not be met. They might as well start letting the helium out now.

I hope they do something useful with the leftover money. But man it would have been nice to see the blimp over the Citrus Bowl pre-game festivities!

Oh well. It is so disappointing to see that menthol patch and his ilk were able to scare off enough supporters for the blimp team.


Then again, maybe a few people will get off their duffs and do the right thing and get this done on time!

If the guy who owns the blimp is a Ron Paul supporter like it was claimed, then he will let supporters off with $10,000 - it's a measly sum considering the amount he'd made off of all this in ANY case.

Listen to yourself. Ron Paul supporters can't give 10 bucks apiece to keep the thing going. So, one guy, a businessman, is supposed to cave to give you what you want, using his resource, and that cave will only cost him 1,000 times what you think no one should have to give.

The RP campaign rests on the premise of individuals being personally responsible.

What you propose is like a social security expectee walking in and asking: "hey, where's my money, I was told there'd be some here for me".
