I've seen posted that the FEC rule is $2300 per person is the maximum you can donate.
- Is that per year, or per campaign?
- Is it $4600 per household/couple?

I've also seen that it's fairly easy to look up who has donated for each candidate IF they donated a total of $200 or more for the candidate.

Is there a way to keep that information private?

I believe it's per election cycle. So when the primaries are over and Dr. Paul is the nominee, we can start over donating up to 2300.00 again. Or 4600.00 per married couple.

I think the lookup sites are not up to date... don't know when they gather info.

Can't be kept private. Feingold/McCain law.

The limit is $2300 per person ($4600 per couple) per campaign. The campaign that we are in right now is the primary campaign. After Ron paul wins the Republican endorsement in sept. We can all donate another $2300 for the General election Campaign.

I've donated the $2300 maximum to Ron Paul's campaign and not a penny of it shows up on this web site.
