Do 1 on 1 Debates ever happen in Primaries?

Just curious if there is any history of a 1 on 1 debate in the primary election.

I'd love to see Ron Paul call out any of the neo-cons and challenge them.

Anyways, just wondering if it's even possible.

Oh my.. If Ron Paul had a two hour debate 1 on 1, it would be unfair. No matter who it is. The good Dr. always puts those neo-cons to shame.

Thankfully, no. If they had something like that at this point in the game they would choose Romney and Huckabee.
