Fred's new video looks terrible. It has worse lighting and production values than a 3rd-rate porno from the 80s.

Wow, just started watching it, but around the 2:30 mark he starts talking socialism. BTW, this list is his list of core conservative values. I don't call this idea conservative in the least:

"A dollar belongs in the pocket of the person who earns it, unless the government has a compelling reason why it can use it better."

Essentially just imagine him stealing most of Dr. Paul's talk about Founding Fathers and coopting it for his use. That's all I've heard so far. "Blah blah blah I'm conservative blah blah blah I was the only one that was a leader at the last debate because I didn't raise my hand blah blah blah."

You sir, are NO conservative if you believe the government can use money better than the person who earns it.

I actually kind of liked Fred at one point. I knew he was a flip flopper at heart like the others, but the above statement just seals the deal when he thinks that's a conservative value.

It's pretty obvious that Fred Thompson's wife, Jeri Thompson, wants him to be POTUS more so than he does. No wonder Fred Thompson always appears so tired; he is tired of all the nagging that he has to put up with at home from a driving, overambitious, Lady MacBeth wife.

For that matter, the same can be said about John Edwards' wife, Elizabeth Edwards. She could give a rat's @ss about her two little kids who haven't had a decent set of parents for the better part of a year or two because the Edwards are so busy campaigning. Thankfully, we don't have to worry about John Edwards ever becoming elected President even if he wins the Democratic nomination since the first general election campaign commercial against him will be this:

I feel for the guy, I really do. And, I agree when he says that "running" for President is not something he enjoys. I can't imagine anybody wanting the job badly enough to endure 2 years of rubber chicken dinners, constant campaigning, strange hotel beds, and the barbed tongues of every mook with an Internet connection and keyboard. Even salesmen get a break every once in a while.
