We should be happy about the statement released by HQ saying that we need to raise an extra $23 million, because it shows us that HQ is serious in taking the steps needed to WIN HUGE on super tuesday instead of just hoping on early state momentum to pull them through super tuesday.

Agreed - very awesome news. He'll probably even get some news coverage for it. All the more reason that we have to get serious about bringing the money in. I have faith. :)

They're letting the MSM do it for them.

Nice post-- very true. You know, you could just tell that the Fox debacle pissed off Snyder big time. Very timely release!

We need a major fund-raising concert.............

There's got to be some artist out there that still believe in freedom!!

We have to take responsibility of spreading our message around and not rely on the MSM like some, and we should take pride in that.

I think the request of that much money increases the likely hood if Paul becoming a 3rd party candidate.

For "money bombs" i think we should have a decent sized one on January 17th which is Benjamin Franklin's Birthday, a Benjamin for Benjamin. Its not too soon or too late.

and for those who aren't into the money bombs as much and prefer a more constant stream should look into ronpaulspayday.com which suggests supporters donate $25 every friday to Ron Paul.

and for the people who just want to give Ron Paul money do it now :) every dollar on any given day helps

In order to raise $23M in 35 days, it's going to take something like a concert (> 75,000 attendees at $100 per ticket with most of the production being VOLUNTARY) for Ron Paul to make the target. Personally, I can't even imagine how a single money bomb on the 17th (which is really too late) exceeding $12M will even be enough. The thought of even raising $12M on a single day seems preposterous regardless of its lateness to have much effect by Feb 5. How does one organize a Concert for Ron Paul within a week or so? ;)

If he were going to go 3rd party, he'd ask for it later.

I'd say since he's asking for it now, he plans.....to......go......all........the.......way !

I think a 1st place finish in NH could propel him to a huge fundraising day.

I honestly believe that the GOP nomination is in reach and no 3rd party will be necessary.

I cannot stress enough for Everyone to budget themselves Wisely and get some money to the Cause. Their are so many good ways to spread the word but get some to the Campaign and to a Grassroots project you beleive in. Remember the whole idea is to get a WHOLE LOT OF GOOGLING GOING ON!!! Let the people see RP's message for themselves
