What is the credit card transaction fee?? Even if there's a fee, it still would be a good scheme because its fun and it wouldn't take long for the amounts to be greater than the fee.

Nah, Transaction fees don't make it cost effective. Try bigger numbers... like 10 dollar on jan 1st, 20 dollars on 2nd, etc.

They don't need money. They need to hire a new ad agency or, even better, put some college kids to work. There are a lot of talented media arts and film majors across the country who would be willing to produce decent ads for a very small amount of money just to make a name for themselves. I have personally submitted several ads that are far superior to the garbage HQ is turning out. When we give the campaign money we are basically subsidizing crappy ads. I'm not sending one more penny until I see an ad that is worthy of Ron Paul. He's a terrific candidate with a terrible ad campaign.

Hey I like your Idea but I also agree with the credit card fees so how about a compromise?? How about doing your idea, except instead of starting on Jan.1 for $1.. start it on the 25th with $25.. and just do it for one week up till the 31st with $31 ??

think about this.. $23 million in the first month??? that is outrageous.. in a good way..

I think it sends a very clear message. With that kind of money Ron Paul can dictate terms to the GOP.. If they wanna play shananigans.. we will be able to comfortably allow him to go another route with this kind of money.. There will be no question about it.
