"MONEY NUKE" - $23 million in one day!

Let's go balls out and do $23 million in one day instead of spreading it out over 4 weeks. Face it, the campaign needs the money now to buy air time for Feb 5th. After Feb 5th, its all over. The time for action is now!

I suggest a $23 million "money nuke" on January 7, the anniversary of the First American Presidential Election (which was on January 7, 1789). Raising the money by Jan. 7th will give them enough time to spend it all before Feb. 5.

The official website says that about 130,000 people have already donated this quarter. If each of those people only donates $175, that will equal $23 million dollars. That's right! Each person only needs to donate $175.

And also, I suggest that we make a separate subforum for topics related to raising $23 million dollars.

I don't think its possible to have that happen on January 7th. Most are still financially wiped out from the last money bomb. We will need to advertise a money bomb of that size for a lot longer then 10 days as well.

I don't know about that... Our last moneybomb (12/16) frazzled out the campaign pretty badly. Remember at the end when we overloaded the system and it wouldn't take donations for like the last 15 minutes? And that was only $6m. I think spreading the moneybombs out will be easier on the campaign's servers. Maybe we could do $23m spread out over 4 days or something though...? That would get a lot of attention. We'd end up with the 5 highest fundraising days in political history. xD

I think we need to get giving money all the time and the faster they get the money the better. We need to money bomb on the 31st to be big. I have been pushing for $11.1 million, to get him to $30 million, if that can't happen, lets look at 6.1 million, 25 million, more then any GOP at anytime. Money bombs are now well know, so lots of people will want to be a part of them, we just need to pick days and go with it. I like the idea of the 31st, the 7th, and if need be, 12th (Friday is pay day for a lot of people). But we need to focus on getting out and going door to door.

I say we have a one week money bomb in 2 weeks. That gives us time to prepare. We don't need to hold it on a special day...we can call it Ron Paul for the Win money bomb or something like that.
