It is that night; part of the reason that the Republicans hold the voting at the very beginning of the night (all the more reason to get there early) is so that they are released as soon as possible (sometime around 7:30-8:00 p.m. CST).

According to RonPaul2008.com, the voting begins at 8pm. I think Iowa is CT. I'm sure the results will be released that night, but I don't know when. I'd expect to see them before Midnight CT.

they have an entrance pre voting speculation thing they do, then they report the results that evening i beleive.
