One of our meetup members has secured a skywriting advertisment which will appear above the Rose Bowl Parade next week. We need to raise $1,000 for this ad.

I would like some feedback here as to whether this is a good effort and if others here would chipin.

This is a legit skywriting company. They are doing 10 ads over the parade. We would be the only political ad.

The skytyping is pretty cool. Each letter is 1/4 mile and a 20 letter ad stretches for 5 miles and can be seen for 20 miles.

EDIT: I have received the contract via email to do this ad, however, I was just emailed an article about possible protesting at the Parade and would like some input as to whether our group should continue with this project. Thanks.
