I'm with you, portland is hotter than hell also. It's not climate change though. It's the middle of july. :D And a crapload of sun-spots.

Just wait for the next sun storm cycle (in 2012). We're gonna be in some trouble then.

(And, interestingly enough, many civilizations--perhaps most notably the Mayans--end their calendars in the year 2012.)

Yeah according to NASA 2012 is the peak of the solar maximum. Hopefully it doesn't knock down the satellite my cell phone depends on. And hopefully people in the gulf states get the hell out.

100 degrees in Western WA, REALLY sucks. Lots of people over there aren't prepared with air conditioner's in their houses or cars, etc. I live in Eastern WA now and in the summer we know we are going to have lots of 100+ degree days but we are prepared for it.

It was 106 here yesterday and suppose to be that again today. I'll be hiding in the house all day running up my electric bill again today.
