Fox News may be trying to provoke violent behavior outside their debate. If even one supporter acts violent, or appears fanatical, the media will have a hayday with it, and will justify using security to keep Ron Paul rallies away from major events. Be assertive, not aggressive. Use non-violent tactics such as boycotting Amex/Comcast/Best-Buy instead. Hit them where it hurts, don't play into their hands.

The problem is that they can easily plant provocateurs to act out amidst a peaceful demonstration, get good footage of it and blame Ron Paul supporters.
The only way to offset it is to have video cameras rolling and document as much objective information as possible to counter any possible smear campaign.

See this footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St1-WTc1kow
These masked men were police planted to start a riot so that the whole peaceful demonstration is dispersed. The whole thing was exposed here:

Yes they did that in Quebec this summer at the last SPP sumit. Three undercover officers were caught trying to provoke violence to justify the police moving in on peaceful protesters. One of them had a huge boulder in his hand and was refusing to let it down, and he was pushing other protesters.

The cops refused to admit they were undercover officers at first, and then they said it was for "our safety".

Nothing has happenned to those cops. I can see them using the same techniques on Ron Paul supporters, so beware.

Check this out:

So have has many cameras as possible!!! These cops were only caught because of the video, otherwise nothing would of happenned.

This is exactly what Fox or another campaign will do. This is a bad idea. The media already played this card down in Miami when our "supporter" went after Guilini. Don't fall for it again.

As it turns out that person was a part of a local meetup group. He acted on his own agenda in the name of Ron Paul. The people in the meetup wanted him GONE, but there's not much they could do about it. 1st amendment.

If you think a rally like this won't draw these folks out, you should re-examine some of our supporters. This protest should NOT be in the name of Ron Paul. We should be protesting on behalf of the GOP.

Nobody will listen though. You watch...
