Hey all,

Several months ago I had Ron Paul added as a friend on my Facebook account. I noticed today that he was no longer there. So, I went to ronpaul2008.com and tried to add Ron Paul again. However, all the links are like this: "http://www.facebook.com/r.php"

I hope this is only affecting me, otherwise, this appears to be blatant filtering and manipulation by Facebook  . Does anyone else experience the same thing?

I am going to be really mad at Facebook if they are engaging in such tactics. I have already boycotted MySpace for doing this type of covert garbage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehhj-0JsKmA

I had no similar problem with links Mitt Romney on Facebook.

Thanks.

I noticed that Ron Paul's official Facebook is gone. I wonder why...

I saw this today too....are any of the other candidates there? Facebook does change things all the time without warning, perhaps they just got rid of all the candidate profiles. I don't even remember how I stumbled across his profile because it never showed up when searching for him by name.

I found it again. How strange...

Yeah no candidate's page can be found through groups anymore. Anyone who had a politician "friended/supported" was automatically added to a "US Politics" application and that's where you can find them. For those of you who are in the "Congressman Ron Paul for President 2008" group (his largest), they added him as an "admin" for easy access to his profile. Hope that helps.

The change was made a little over a week ago.
