Should we hold a huge rally/protest outside the debate? Should we email bomb everyone at FOX? Lets brainstorm creative ways of fighting this BS, then DO IT.

Boycotts. All that matters is the money. It's all they'll care about.

Hold a huge rally outside of FOX. Wait they would just get geraldo to call us crazies and tell us to shut up.

Screw them how can they exclude a candidate that just raised 20 million? The polls mean nothing they only poll republicans who voted in 2004-2006. Shit 75 percent of our supporters are former democrats and independent plus a good majority never voted.

If someone with better writing skills than I, could make up a form letter. Then we could e-mail these sponsors, it would be a good start to getting some heat applied to Fox News.

It was suggested earlier that we do not protest and yell as it has a lot of negativity around it, but rather just have a huge cook out and have American flags and such and invite people to join us for our bash. All this after a day of canvassing. The media couldent smear us at all then.

call all those companies, and tell them we refuse to buy or use their products due to fox not allowing RP in the debates, and not giving him time to speak.

and also: boycott ALL corporate products! they are running all of our lives. why let them?

Them excluding Ron is probably the best thing that could have happened. It get's us all fired up. They are going to get bombarded by emails, phone calls etc. and will end up including him anyway.

Let their sponsponsors know you are boycotting Fox and possibly their products if they support such censorship. Hit them in their pockets where it hurts most.

You can find contact information here for some of Fox's main sponsors.

http://skinthefox.com/sponsors_001.htm

Here are some talking points:

The plan is to send a copy of Ron Paul's press release and ask them if they are aware of this outrage. And, now that it has been brought to their attention ask if they would insist that FOX live up to their claim of "fair and balanced" and include Ron Paul. If FOX ignores them and does exclude Dr. Paul, then I would ask that they redirect their advertising dollars to news shows of other networks. If they continue to advertise on FOX then I would no longer consider buying their products. -provided by orp member

Hey, didn't anyone see the post in the daily paul? http://www.dailypaul.com/node/17884

It appears the campaign doesn't know if they were invited or not. No one seems to know anything and while they sort this out, it would be best if we didn't attack until we know he was snubbed.

Then all bets are off. But while the campaign itself is still "looking" for an invitation or trying to figure out if one was sent to them at all, we should hold off.

Besides, if it turns out he was not invited, they may be holding negotiations to get him invited and any action from us might hurt that.

We have a few days here. Let's wait a few more 24s and see what happens.

Then we throw them to the wolves!

Raise 7 million for him that day. Also have a rally infront of the place so that it's hard for the normal people to get in. Also bring laptops that day so everyone can donate!

The fact is that we still have time to get him INCLUDED in the debate!

We need to stay focused on making sure that he is included.

Lets keep on faxing, email, and calling Faux News and media organizations everywhere!

boycotting these corporate sponsors is the thing to do, but be certain to tell each corporation why you are doing so when you contact them.

Ron Paul believes in civil disobedience, if you are willing to accept the consequences.

Here's the battle plan IF, and ONLY if, Ron Paul is excluded from the debate.

1) Get a seat to the debates. Do this individually, now. (Does anyone know how this is done?) Use an email address that has never been used for Ron Paul stuff (eg gmail.com).

2) Organise into small groups of maybe 6-7 people.

3) Go to the debate with your group but appear to be as separate individuals.

4) Dress - Business, smart casual and to be really sure, McCain or Romney t shirts. (Order your t shirt today to get to you in time).

5) At prearranged times, the first group stands up and starts chanting "RON PAUL, RON PAUL".

6) After they are thrown out, wait 5 minutes, and the talks begin again, GROUP 2 goes into action.

7) And so on.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

i) Each group MUST practise. It is important that people project their voice and are co-ordinated and sound strong. And to give people confidence that their team mates will back them up. You MUST be heard clearly and come across as organised and powerful, not as a bunch of wimpy hippies. Practice making your chants fill a very large area.

ii) Practice where there is a large area, like a deserted football field.

iii) Practice projecting. There is a weird thing with sound that it will only travel as far as you project your 'space'. Most people's space goes only as far as the microphone in front of them, no matter how loud they shout.

However, great singers and speakers can make their sound carry throughout a huge auditorium. I was told how at a Tina Turner conference she came out the back and just said "Hi" and EVERYONE HEARD IT CLEARLY.

To do this, imagine that you are a giant person, and 'grab hold" of each corner in the room, one at a time. Then "fill" the room with your beingness. The sound will go whereever your spirit is. Try this as an experiment with another person and see the difference.

GO FORTH MIGHTY SOLDIERS OF FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!

As pointed out in other threads, this is not a debate but a round table forum. I have personally searched all over for ways to attend with no success. It could be there will not be an audience.

You should bring cell phones, and send text messages during the forum between the groups, as when to get up and shout. Freedom's on the march!

Is Fair and Balanced Just Rhetoric?

Greetings,

It has come to my attention that Fox News will be excluding one of the top tier
Republican Presidential candidates from it's forum this January 6th, immediately
before the New Hampshire Primaries (please see
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-releases/94/has-fox-news-excluded-ron-paul for evidence). My understanding is that Fox News purports to be "Fair and Balanced" in it's coverage.

This candidate is tied for third place in recent New Hampshire polls of
Republicans (please see
http://www.usatoday.com/news/polls/tables/live/2007-12-20-nhpoll.htm for
evidence).

This candidate has won more Republican Staw Polls than all of the other
candidates combined (please see http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results
for evidence).

This candidate has won the supposedly spam-proof AOL straw poll (please see
http://news.aol.com/political-machine/straw-poll).

This candidate has won post-debate polls conducted by the Fox News Network
(please see
http://www.nashvilleistalking.com/2007/09/05/fox-news-republican-debate-poll-ron
-paul-wins-by-a-landslide for evidence).

This candidate is the top searched-for Republican candidate on google (please
see
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2004096850_aponthe2008trail28.htm
l for evidence).

Of course, this candidate has also raised nearly 19 million dollars in the 4th
quarter alone, which by any measure puts him in the top tier, but you don't need
me to tell you this.

It is amazing, simply amazing, that Fox News Network has the audacity to exclude
him from coverage and to do so makes a complete mockery of their official motto.

Fair and Balanced?. Not.

Sincerely,

William C Colley
