I and several others locally (Wisconsin) placed orders for supplies over a month ago (nearly 6 weeks in some cases) -- and have not received anything.
My own order was non-paid (Hey, I'm maxed-out and they SWORE that I would still be able to get supplies!) -- but others were paid. All of us were ordering CAMPAIGNING materials (not the jackets and junk).
Just wondering if others are actually receiving shipments, and if so, in which states? (i.e. are they just overwhelmed? 6 weeks overwhelmed? Or are they shipping only or mainly to early primary states, and putting the rest of us "on hold" etc.)
Just getting very puzzled and frustrated here -- we've had to cancel several outreach ideas for lack of expected (ordered) materials (an outreach to Senior Centers using the 12 page booklet for example) -- and are otherwise reduced to using the Liberty Cards and locally produced (B/W) materials on plain paper (which is fine when used in conjunction with slim-jims, but conversely looks VERY "third-tier" and unprofessional when it is the ONLY literature you have!)
UPDATE 12/29/2007! Looks like the campaign store *IS* getting a handle on their backorders! FedEx-Ground truck arrived tonight with multiple packages (at 8:30 PM! on a SATURDAY!!!) I haven't had the chance to go through the WHOLE list yet, but it looks like I received virtually everything that I ordered -- and at a meeting this afternoon, others noted that they also have (within the past day or two) received their resupply orders as well! So I want to give a big happy SHOUT OUT to Colin Duffy and his crew at the RP Store -- looks like they've tamed the monster! Way to go Colin!!!
