Do you really expect Fox to be fair to Ron Paul during that debate anyway? Don't you know he would've gotten a couple of crappy questions, if that? Do we really want him to participate?
By not inviting him to that forum they gave us an advantage, which we must exploit to the max. They deliberately went on to provoke and outrage us.
This is a challenge. I say, let's accept it and fight!
But we need to organize. We need to turn this into breaking news. We need to use this excuse to give our guy and our movement lots of airtime on many other news outlets. Let's take this seriously, you know we can do that.
I strongly believe, that it will be much easier to get media coverage, if instead of asking them to investigate something we provide them with ready materials that they can use.
Here's a plan (to sum up ideas on other threads into a coherent effort).
We need to come up with a meaningful peace of text formulating our point on this issue. Similar to how we came up with the "7 reasons to vote for Ron Paul" for Iowa Evangelicals, we can discuss and polish that text here on the forum. We then sign that text (thousands of signatures) and distribute it to all media outlets as news.
We need Hi-Def videos of the FN protests sent to TV networks nationwide, so they can include some footage when they report on it.
We need to contact the FN advertisers both local and national. In a highly polite manner we should inform them about censorship and unfairness that takes place there, and ask them to consider that thousands of current and potential customers will be very grateful if they took a stand.
We are not the only ones who don't like Fox Noise. Fox is a highly unpopular network among their peers and among democrats/independents. We could try to fish them out of the 'Net and coordinate efforts. (Any ideas?)
If won't hurt to continue attempts to reach Fox News through email/fax/phone. Not that it's going to change their position, but they should know what are they dealing with.
Most of us cannot get to Iowa/NH right now and our participation is limited. This is something we as an Internet community can do to help.
Let's.
