Outfoxed!!!!

While reading ronpaulforums.com, I found myself deep into several threads complaining about news coverage, particularly Fox. One particular post grabbed my attention, instructing me to watch OUTFOXED. A quick search on youtube and it was right there in front of me, all eight parts.

I started watching the first segment, and I could not stop. How could I have missed this? I watch Fox just as much as I watch other stations, yet dismissed claims that the station was unfair. Well, I learned a lesson tonight. Fox is far from a real news station. I’ll even go so far as to say that Fox is a propaganda machine for the Republican Party.

I strongly urge all of you to watch OUTFOXED. It is well done and eye opening.

Yuck 2 minute in the have David Brock founder of Media Matters for America. He is the worst form of political slime there is. He made a name for himself by slamming the Clintons and making up lies about them but they successfully wooed to Hillary's side and now Media Matters is basically a character assassination machine. I'll watch the rest later but that guys does not help anyone by being in this.

Agree. I don't particularly like that moveon.org was involved, but I think the video speaks the truth. It's done in a way that will really open people's eyes. It opened mine. (yeah, embarrassed to say that, but true).

Interesting...very interesting...I gave up watching Fox news well over a year ago. They were showing so much nudity:eek: I couldn't have it on...With 7 children someone is always awake!!! Not to mention it was way out of line to my senses for a news network....:o Now if I could listen to talk radio that wasn't owned by Fox I'd be thrilled!!!!;)

I get all my news of the net nowadays and so should you.

Yes. You're right. This is put out by left wingers in order to do just that. It's a different kind of propaganda. The makers of "Outfoxed" use the same techniques Michael Moore uses in his "documentaries." Editing at the right time to give a false impression. I'm not sticking up for Fox, infact after the O'Reilly/Paul segment I quit watching Fox News. Just saying, it's no better than something like mediamatters.org. They pretend like they are "fair," but are nothing but shills for the democrats.

You do yourself a disservice in seeking "objective" media. All media comes from the writers perspective with varying intentions. It's better to seek out as many perspectives as you can find on a given subject. You still may not find the truth, but at least then you will know how all sides feel about a subject.

Walter Cronkike (spelling?) added a somewhat authentic feel. But I'd love to see the right wing produce a film in similar fashion to CNN. I bet the results are basically the same. Overall, though, I'd suggest watching it to anyone interested whatsoever in how the media works.

There is barely a politician in congress that would know truth if it fell on top of him, with a few notable exceptions.

Okay, what I'm taking from this video is that Fox is trying to anger and divide the people in the United States. Would it not send a powerful message to everyone if we stood arm to arm with those with different ideas against Fox? Moveon.org is the organization that comes to mind as I've seen the negative comments about them here. If we end up protesting Fox at the roundtable for not allowing Ron Paul, would you accept Moveon.org members at your side to protest the same Fox censorship?

Yes this is like watching the Gambinos accusing the Genovese of playing dirty.
They are both corrupt and don't have anything to do with fairness or populist agenda.

This is a great movie, filled with much truth, but seems to strengthen the Left/Right paradigm. For instance, they spend a lot of time on Fox supporting George W Bush and tearing down John Kerry, but both of them were Bonesmen. The fix was in and the American people were patsies. On other elections, a Left candidate would be heralded as the premier candidate. Whomever the Powerbrokers want in power, that person gets promoted and the other person denigrated.

Watch for the sway to fall toward Hillary this election. Since Bush cannot run or win another election, the elite need their next player in office.

I feel like I may be preaching to the choir here, but just wanted to clarify that Fox News is no worse than the rest. I get my info from 2 main sources...the net and my shortwave radio. I don't have to mention the benefits of the net, but on shortwave, I hear broadcasts coming from Patriot broadcasters that give me info not on any of the networks.

Yes, Outfoxed is good, but not great. Just be sure not to be taken in that the problem rests almost exclusively with Fox. All of the networks were complicit in getting the American people fired up for the war in Iraq!
