I had a thought about a Ron Paul advertisement. He talks about how much was wasted in Iraq & maintaining our global empire but a trillion dollars is such a large number that people just can't visualize the scale of that number. Here is a rough mockup that I whipped up really quick with the help from a crunchweb.net story:

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p48/fmello/Money-Stack.jpg

Each stack is 125 feet wide, 200 feet deep, and 450 feet tall.

450 feet is the height of a 38-story building. It's the hieght of the Millenium Wheel
in London. It is also the height of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and the
Louisiana State Capitol Building.

1 million one dollar bills weighs 2.75 tons.
1 trillion 260 billion one dollar bills weighs 3 trillion 465 billion tons.

For the ad I suggest a recognizeable landmark like having a single stack of CGI money rising up from one endzone to the other at Lambeau Field to give it a sense of scale. A helicoptor POV shot starting at the center of the 50 yard line & panning back to get a sense of how massive the stack of one dollar bills would be. I think it would be a pretty impressive wake-up call to the American public.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

9 trillion in debt, sounds about the size of the World Trade center

Another thing you could say is

IF you spent $750,000 twice a day, every day, for 200 years.. Youd be halfway to $1 Trillion.
