Since this one isn't about trying to get as much money as possible during a 24-hour period I think it would be better to start it at midnight GMT instead of ET. The extra few hours could help in making sure that everybody is aware of the day, and gives more time to inform meetup groups and so on.
Also, if another campaign is going for a year-end goal that could also help us beat them for donations two days in a row instead of just one.
Good idea?
