Hi, im part of the campaign up here in Iowa and im looking for a map of des moines that shows residental areas... We need this by tommarow for a mass canvass, and im going to be up all night looking for this thing... If you guys could help, that would be great. Thanks...

Now that you have the zip, I strongly suggest you use the census. They have some pretty good maps.

Here's population density. You could also take the zip's and get houshold size, etc.

Landon,

Ok, I'll chime in here since I grew up in the DSM area. You need to think about canvassing the western suburbs (WDM, Clive, Urbandale, etc.) which aren't shown on the maps provided. They are heavily Republican and would be a little more receptive to the message. The conundrum with Iowa is that both parties are tilted towards the ends of the spectrum. The Republicans are a little more evangelical and the Democrats are more pro-union/socialist than the rest of the U.S.

Just my two cents. Is the campaign helping out by assigning areas at all?
