I got my Feb./08 Reason in the mail today and it is a very positive story on both Ron Paul and the grass roots campaign.

You might want to buy it when you see it for sale.

They don't endorse as a magazine and never have; they do, and can, however, endorsed candidates individually but generally not overtly.

Reason is already basically endorsing RP. They have at least one RP related story on their online blog every day. Earlier this summer, Reason did a profile of all the Presidential candidates and said of Paul: "Wouldn't it be great to live in a world where he could actually win." (that might not be an exact quote)

did they talk about the NAFTA superhighway or open borders or NAU? I don't like some of Reasons ideas on destroying the sovereignty of the U.S.A. and calling the opposition conspiracy theorists.

there ARE elements within reason pushing the NAU agenda and not too secretly (under the guise of "free trade"). but boy how they deny it!

Right there. Their cover gallery is one of the most unique things about Reason's site compared to almost any other out there.

At the big ones. The University B&Ns usually carry it.

You can read it online for free or even get it digitally if you want the copy for the sake of having a copy.

Reason is a nonpartisan tax exempt nonprofit. They don't endorse candidates.

As far as NAFTA and the sovereignty of the USA, Reason is libertarian, not protectionist or "America First" or whatever you want to call it. A lot of RP supporters ( I proudly include myself in this category) support him in spite of the NAU stuff, not because of it.

I have read many articles from libertarians that make the case either for or against supporting RP, and they all have valid arguments. I have made the choice to support a candidate who is not perfect but very close and is only "wrong" ( IMHO, of course) on a couple issues that probably wont make any difference in policy.
