Remember that only something like 4-5% of Iowa caucus voters tend to be under the age of 25. Even in the '04 Democratic caucus, where there were a lot of youths energized about Dean, only 17% of voters (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/primaries/pages/epolls/IA/index.html) were 29 or younger.
Now, I believe that nobody was 1/10th as into Dean as people with regards to Paul. And so I think we're going to have the highest youth turnout in the history of the Iowa caucuses. This is why I think we're being underpolled...
But still, don't expect the vast majority of voters to not be 45 or older. Because no matter what happens, the vast majority of voters will be old.

But the college students won't be on campus, and out of state students won't even be in the state.

People are under estimating Thompson. He came in second place in STRAW POLLS over the entire nation...right behind Ron Paul.
I have a feeling only Ron Paul and Fred Thompson will do better than expected in Iowa...this Iowa poll is more evidence of that.

I agree. Who in their right mind would choose Huckabee over Thompson?
Did people here vote and pose as Iowans? tsk tsk...

This can't be true.

Eh, I don't know. It seems like Huckabee's base is much more motivated than Thompson's. If Fred is too lazy to fly around the country, don't you think a lot of his voters will be too lazy to turn off the Orange Bowl to trudge in the cold snow for a vote?
