I'm sticking with a similar Goldwater theme - a reminder that Paul belongs in the GOP.

"You know in your guts - the last 10 years have been nuts"

that targets today's GOP exclusively

Or amend it to go back to the original timeline

"You know in your guts - the last 45 years have been nuts"

That targets the hysteria of Daisy - and how it is replaying itself again today - except this time in the GOP. I think it would be a wonderful boon to Ron Paul if American's were reminded that fear of the bomb has dictated our elections and foreign policy for far too long.

There are loads of good slogans on this thread. Keep it up!
If I may take a moment, call it what you want, the coming advance into Iowa, the surge into Iowa, the Iowa invasion. The move into Iowa is going to take loads of volunteers. Won't you make the decision today to be there in Iowa this summer volunteering for Ron Paul? Within the time frame beginning early/mid June thru December. Take an honest appraisal of your personal situation. If you situation allows, volunteer to serve in Iowa for Ron Paul this summer 2007. If you cannot, continue fighting wherever your at for freedom and the RP candidacy. Your definitely needed in the state you call home.

We are at an historic turning point in history. What we do this summer and into the fall and winter will make all the difference. Please stay closely tuned to this forum and your local meetup groups for future announcements.

Lastly and importantly, if you live in Iowa, or, Omaha, Nebraska, or live in any states adjoining Iowa within a 25 mile range to the Iowa border and you have spare bedroom(s) to house volunteers, please email that data, with city and state, contact telephone number, and number of volunteers able to house to paulfarris1957@yahoo.com and cc to sifu78704@gmail.com

Maybe we need a logo for our storming of Iowa. Like "Iowa"jima and have a logo of supporters planting the Ron Paul flag.

Today is Memorial Day. I have to think of all those brave soldiers who fought and died. Can you imagine how they felt landing on those beaches? The courage it took to storm ahead even as they saw the carnage? Even when faced with a mission that seemed impossible- the pushed forward. Let their sacrifice for freedom and what is right inspire us to push forward.

"The laying a Country desolate with Fire and Sword, declaring War against the natural rights of all Mankind, and extirpating the Defenders thereof from the Face of the Earth, is the Concern of every Man to whom Nature hath given the Power of feeling; of which Class, regardless of Party Censure, is the AUTHOR.

...Who the Author of this Production is, is wholly unnecessary to the Public, as the Object for Attention is the DOCTRINE ITSELF, not the MAN. Yet it may not be unnecessary to say, That he is unconnected with any Party, and under no sort of Influence public or private, but the influence of reason and principle." Thomas Paine, "Common Sense," Philadelphia, February 14, 1776.

We need a new "Common Sense" for the RP campaign. This thing was pretty dang influential.

When making slogans, you have to remember to remain positive even though there is a ton of negative things about our government currently. People respond better to something positive. Give them hope. Preach freedom. Ron Paul is the only candidate who stands for it.

Sure... along the lines of Thom. Paine, how about something like:

"Unowned by Any Foreign or Domestic Lobby. Ron Paul 2008."

Here's Iowa's State song. It's really beautiful.

Iowa State Song
Written by S.H.M. Byers
To the music of Tannenbaum

You asked what land I love the best, Iowa, tis Iowa,
The fairest State of all the west, Iowa, O! Iowa,
From yonder Misissippi's stream
To where Missouri's waters gleam
O! fair it is as poet's dream, Iowa, in Iowa.

See yonders fields of tasseled corn, Iowa in Iowa,
Where plenty fills her golden horn, Iowa in Iowa,
See how her wonderous praries shine.
To yonder sunset’s purpling line,
O! happy land, O! land of mine, Iowa, O! Iowa.

And she has maids whose laughing eyes, Iowa, O! Iowa.
To him whose loves were Paradise, Iowa, O! Iowa
O! happiest fate that e’er was known.
Such eyes to shine for one alone,
To call such beauty all his own. Iowa, O! Iowa

Go read the story of thy past. Iowa, O! Iowa
What glorious deeds, what fame thou hast! Iowa, O! Iowa
So long as time’s great cycle runs,
Or nations weep their fallen ones,
Thou’lt not forget thy patriot sons, Iowa, O! Iowa

Ron Paul is the Gold Standard.

I just used this in my blog to describe Ron Paul. It's perfect. It's witty, it's positive, and it even has a bit of substance in that it refers to an actual policy. Think of it! Since when do political slogans have real policy implications? It'll be another honest thing we're doing that other politicians are abjectly refusing to do!

The way I used it can be found here:
http://pragmaticlibertarian.thinkertothinker.com/

It should have an exclamation point. "Ron Paul is the Gold Standard!" It's succinct enough to even put on stickers and signs.

18 Choices For President, 1 Choice For Freedom
What Could You Do With ALL Your Income? NO to IRS; YES to PAUL
Replace the IRS... with Nothing
Vote For The Welfare State, If You Don't Trust Yourself To Be Charitable
Ron Paul Must Be Crazy: He Trusts You To Spend Your Own Money -- No to IRS: Yes to PAUL
Ron Paul Must Be Crazy: He Doesn't Want To Nuke Anyone
Ron Paul Must Be Crazy: He Thinks Our Borders Should Be Secure
...blah, blah, blah, you get the idea...
Foreign Wars or Secure Domestic Borders: Pick One
Foreign Wars or Domestic Liberty: Choose Wisely
[Picture of boot on neck] Don't Blame Me: I Voted for Ron Paul
or, Don't Blame Me; My Candidate Has Read The Constitution
or, Don't Blame Me; My Candidate Didn't Vote To Suspend Habeas Corpus
Ron Paul: The Only One Left Who's Still For The Right (needs tweaking)
Ron Paul: The Only One Left Who'll Fight For Your Rights (needs tweaking, sounds like a law firm)
And You Thought All The Founding Fathers Were Dead [pics of Jefferson, Washington, and Paul]
And You Thought All The Good Ones Were Dead
The Founders May Be Dead, But Their Ideas (Ideals?) Live On
Spam The Vote (with apologies to ladyjade... a bit "inside" though)
It's 2007. Do You Know Who's Printing Your Money?
The Constitution: Self Defense Against Big Government
...especially if you drive a diesel or hybrid...
Remove Barriers To Alternative Fuel. Vote Ron Paul
...or, if you're really hard-core...
Call Me At Home To Talk About Ron Paul
...and a little something (only mildly blasphemous) for the Christians in the audience:
Ron Paul Is My Co-Pilot
Jesus and Ron Paul Would Nuke No One
[pic of Bernanke in a laurel wreath?] "Your money's worth whatever [I]I say it is."
Give Unto Caesar What Is Caesar's -- Heck, His Paper's No Good Anyway

And for general liberty-related bumper stickers, go here: http://www.libertystickers.com/thestressblog.htm http://www.libertystickers.com/thestressblog.htm
No, I'm not affiliated with that site. And when you see how much better his slogans are than mine, that will be obvious.

By the way, I like an earlier poster's idea to compile all the suggestion list-fashion somewhere. Perhaps as a regularly edited sticky at the top of the thread? I haven't read through the whole thread yet, but I've seen some great ideas already. If they were easily available, I could see a great variety of t-shirts or bumper stickers sporting many slogans and logos. As an aside, if things don't turn out as we all hope they will in the election, I think Ron Paul paraphernalia will become something of a dubious badge of honor.

It should be compiled also in a more national location.

Add Ron Paul 2008 where appropriate...

Let history show 2008 was the year the people saved America.

A government that can give you everything you want must first take away everything you have.

My freedom is more important than your great idea.

Okay, joke's over... Bring back the Constitution.

If a nation values anything more than freedom, it will lose its freedom.

Freedom is like breathing; you only become aware of its importance when you're choking.

Ignore your rights and they will go away.

Destroying civil liberties is the goal of a terrorist.

Thomas Jefferson wasted his time.
You ok with that?

The penalty for indifference is to be ruled by evil men.

An election is an advance auction on the sale of stolen goods.
Until you change it. Ron Paul 2008

All laws repugnant to the Constitution are void of law. —Chief Justice John Marshall

The Constitution: It's not just a good idea, IT'S THE LAW! —Michael Badnarik

Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal. —Martin Luther King, Jr.

If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it is free.

Consensus is what lots of people say collectively but nobody believes individually.

A society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves.

Freiheit stirbt in kleinen Teilen. (Freedom dies in little pieces.) -- German proverb

If people behaved like governments, you'd call the cops.

Of two evils choose neither.

Selecting the lesser of two evils is like selecting the best turd in the toilet.

Would you give up your favorite government program if you never again had to pay income tax? —Harry Browne

Two t-shirt slogans I saw on CafePress last night that I loved: the good old "Dr. Paul cured my apathy" and "Ron Paul: Viva la Revolucion" (on a Che Guevara-style shirt, but with Ron Paul's face).

There was another great trendy-spin one, too, with the red "Vote for Pedro" logo from the movie Napoleon Dynamite, but "Pedro" was x'ed out and "Ron Paul" scribbled in with black ink. But I think the one I'm going to buy is a plain, simple white shirt in the style of the "I <3 NY" shirts, but it says "I <3 Ron Paul" instead.
