Personally, I think the vid's a bad idea. No reason to alert people to the fact that our turnout compared to others is very important. That will just motivate the Hucksters and others to make it to the polls.

You have point. So just pass it around Paul Friendly forums.

There's a major flaw. This guy assumes that the 75% "Ron Paul turnout" is bigger then the 25% turnout of supporters of the other candidates. Maybe I'm missing something. If I'm wrong, correct me.

Latest national (Rasmussen) Poll:
Rudy has the lead with 19%. 19 * .25 = 4.75
Paul has 7%. 7 * .75 = 5.25

4.75 and 5.25?

I realize that Pauls number is bigger, but what does that number mean? It can't be 4.75% and 5.25% of the vote.

It means that for every 4.75 Giuliani supporters turn out, 5.25 Ron Paul supporters turn out. This is apx. 19 to 21 in favor Ron Paul, in terms of percentages.

This of it this way...

If 19% of the total population supported Rudy and 25% of them cared enough to show up, he would get 4.75 percent of the total population as the leader in the polls. If 75% of Paul's 7% of supporters turned out, he would have 5.25 percent of the total population.

Long story short, in this scenario Paul wins in national turnout. Keep in mind that what he does state-to-state is what matters though... this just goes to show that he's still in it.

Edit:

It means that for every 4.75 Giuliani supporters turn out, 5.25 Ron Paul supporters turn out. This is apx. 19 to 21 in favor Ron Paul, in terms of percentages.

That's an even better explanation.
