They are currently talking about the assassination of Bhutto -- saying how we need to stay out of it and how out 10 billion "investment" was supposed to support democracy, but it causes civil disruption,

WHO's on First...

No, Ron's on first; somebody else is on second.

Quick

Now he is talking about setting an example instead of forcing our beliefs on them. So far, the usual Ron Paul foreign policy talk.

ron paul would tell pakistan: we should try to leave them alone and let them settle their disputes, we dont' need to be in a civil war.

Quick

Topic: Libertarian and conservative ideals

Question: What would you tell the nation about the unrest in Pakistan

Answer: We need to let them deal with it, not to get involved in another middle east mess. We are too involved with Pakistan now.

OKAY here we go: immigration exclusively:

Ron Paul's view on what needs to be done: my approach is mainly economic. we've been forced to subsidize illegal immigration through education, food stamps, SS, health and so on: why wouldn't they take the risk to come?

BUFFERING OMG OMG OMG OMG

Topic: Immigration -- What is the Ron Paul view?

Economic solution, subsidies, free medical care, food stamps, etc.. why wouldn't they want to come?

His approach is to remove federal mandates on states. More border guards, need them here not in Iraq.

RP isn't sure the fence is a good idea. We need to get rid of the incentives.

Quick
12-27-2007, 11:24 AM
Talking about the fence.

"The fence doesn't sound American." The biggest incentive is amnesty and we need to remove it.

Getting to nitty gritty hypothetical question on if someone has been here for years, but not technically legal.

Quick

Topic: More immigration

You can't solve the problem if we have a welfare state. If we weren't a welfare state and had sound money, immigration wouldn't be an issue.

RP just asked question using the term "President Paul" !

Quick
12-27-2007, 11:28 AM
Topic: Birthright and the 14th amendment

Talking about the actual intent of the 14th amendment. The original intent was never to allow illegal aliens to have children here and get citizenship. Both the host and Paul agreed.

newt gingrich and RP are only candidates this radio show host knows that:

"of course if they're born here, of course they're automatic citizens."

is it constitutional? apparently not! these 2 are only 2 who knew the original intent of 14th ammendment.

question: do you think the concept of the living wage is something to strive for? "Sure, through the market."

he would vote for the fair tax as a very, very poor alternative to our current;

commerical.

Quick

Topic: Should the tax system reward families?

Ron Paul wants to get rid of the taxes and the IRS, he likes the fair tax vs. what we have, but wants to get rid of the tax completely.

"My fair tax is no tax" (both of them laugh) -- commercial now.
