Please discuss ideas for Hempfest here.

So far, volunteers will be bringing water bottles and ice (and coolers if you have one). We are also planning on having lots of signage and handout material.

Some other ideas thrown out include:

having a tv or laptop playing Ron Paul material (would need to identify a power source)
pens
buttons
individually wrapped snacks

What does everyone think? We need your creative input!

Also, we'll have to figure out who will set the booth up on Friday and at what time. I believe we can meet as early as 3pm. I will volunteer to help if I am in town.

By the way, this is Colin.

I will bring a cool poster of federal budget spending (interesting thing to look at).
A stack of pocket US constitutions.
9/11 comission report, Foreign Policy of Freedom book or 2 if somebody wants to talk about foreign policy.

Date? Time? Location?

I am interested in attending. I live in Bellingham and I could bring a small cooler, chair and some slim jims.

Great!

Here is the meetup for it. You can sign up on there or just let us know on this forum what times you plan to attend.

Howdy folks.

So I was thinking we should list what we are bringing to the booth. Ill paint a sign for infront of the table. Tent, table, chairs, cooler, h20, ice. I will be there friday around 3pm to set up. They dont want a lot of cars in and out so if you have things you want to drive in we should meet somewhere. I don't know the town but I will be coming on the waterfront from the ferry dock 52. Where should we meet?

Hey guys, my name is James and I'm a member of the meet-up group. I just wanted to volunteer my weekend from the 18-19th to man the booth at Hempfest. I am new to the political arena and will gladly give up at least one day a weekend to support this campaign. Anything I can do in the meantime? I don't have much money but I have two very productive hands and plenty of time.

Thanks for volunteering James! I think a lot of this are new to the policital process.

Malisa and I are planning on bringing:

lots of water bottles and some ice - maybe a styrofoam cooler or something
a science fair type of display that could go on a table or something that has some pictures and work of Ron Paul
Ron Paul fans made with popsicle sticks and cardboard + a stenciled design and maybe a picture (about 160 of these hopefully)
either 460 or 1800 dum dum's (what do you guys think?) it's the difference between $20 and $55
some tyvec banners
some hempfest relevant signange
possibly a ton a cheap B&W handouts

I may or may not be able to be there on Friday (at least not at 3pm). I may be able to show up later on that day. I will definetly be there bright and early on Saturday though.

Have those of you involved with the HempFest efforts seen the flyers we had made for KottonMouth Kings concerts and Ozzfest? I started giving them out locally yesterday, and the response has been AMAZING.

If you'd like to use them for HempFest, I can have 10,000 printed and shipped to you. I'd just need a shipping address.

You can choose between the two orange versions, and then the other side is the green one. They're printed on full color glossy 4x6 postcards, orange on one side, green on the other.

If you want to take me up on the offer, someone just needs to get me an address to send them to ASAP. And be sure to let me know whether you prefer the version with the note about registering for the primary or the one without it. :)

Thank you for the offer! I just sent you my phone and address. I was going to have something similar but much less professional looking. We would love these! I hope it's not too late.

I recommend rubber banding a flyer to each bottle of water right before we hand it to them.

I'll be there on Sunday, shortly after 2pm.
