I was reading an article from Newsday (http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/ny-usrudy1227,0,6401917.story) about Guiliani campaigning in Florida and I found this line interesting:
Giuliani also repeated vows to dramatically build up the armed forces if elected and to improve care for veterans, saying better services would persuade new recruits to enlist.
He wants to improve care for veterans not because they deserve it, but because it's good PR for recruiting more people to enlist, with his goal of increasing military expansion around the world.
