I just donated $100 in a previous thread that prompted others to donate. I believe the total raised in the one day, with just about 15 people was a hair under $1,000. Pretty impressive. I woudn't have laid out that $100 normally without that thread.

I propose a Donation Game. One person starts off with a donation, say $1. (S)He posts that donation to the thread. "I just donate $1 to the Ron Paul campaign, and I feel more free already!!" The next person in the thread donates $1 more than the previous person, and reports back to the thread. Let's see if we can get it up to $2300!

Any takers?

I think it'll be better if you donate anything greater than 5 or 10 dollars. I would imagine the fees for each credit card transaction is 15-20 cents plus a (maybe 1-2%) percentage.

I was just using $1 as an example. Surely nobody would donate that little. I just didn't want to say "let's start out at $100" and potentially miss all the $20+ donations that might come from it...

In that case, shouldnt we each donate 2 cents to each of the other candidates 300 times?
