hm why situation room? isn't that for breaking news, like the 4.3million day and 6million day. What did Ron Paul do now that is amazing to get on the situation room?

and tucker, that's not a surprise since he endorsed him

Jack Cafferty probably wants him on there. I think Wolf and Jack have a little crush on someone....

Yes this is to officially announce Dr Ron Paul as an MSM "top tier" candidate.

Because Wolf was off last week, and Ron Paul didn't want to miss this:

LOL.. Well i see he will be on tucker and that all in one day. Does anyone else find that odd? He is rarely on anything then all of a sudden on one day he appears on two shows. Was just thinking...

He's announcing he will run as a 3rd party independent.

I wonder who decides which guests may appear on the situation room news show? IMO not Blizter.

He's announcing he will run as a 3rd party independent.

Yeah right? Which would automatically mean zero chances of winning.

RP is wolfsbane.
Blitzer simply can't resist the seductive ideology of RP.

Nice. The more MSM coverage, the better.

They are going to rake him over the Lincoln comment coals. I gotta say, RP has been dissing some of the establishment shibboleths recently - some of his comments about WWII being an outgrowth of Wilson's eagerness to get into WWI and control the Versaille settlement, the unnecessity of a huge war to end slavery here when it ended peaceably elsewhere.

I keep worrying that he is going to do himself in with some of this, but always manages to evade a knockout blow - having truth on your side is a powerful ally.

Both of these interviews will be attacks about the Lincoln comments, and there is no way Ron will be able to teach a history lesson in the short time he will have. I think his best option will be to duck the punches saying something along the lines of "but why are we debating the civil war in the middle of an 08 election?" and then press them for throwing the general political debate off course. I get the impression that Tucker has off tomorrow, and that the shill who replaced him today will do so again tomorrow. This guy is a JV squad rookie with nothing to lose and will try to steer the interview into the wildly controversial so that he can make the highlights and possibly a name for himself.

"What I said was that it would've been better if we'd ended slavery the same way they did in every other major country in the world, without a civil war that killed hundreds of thousands of people and took away some of our freedoms. What I don't understand is why Tim Russert asked me about the Civil War but didn't even mention the War in Iraq."
