Concerns: Getting banned. Probably true but I can't see them giving more than a day or 2. Worth it to me.

and this guy was like lvl 63 or something. I mean I can see being dedicated if you're a ron paul supporter, but that dedicated to smear ron paul like that? wow

Alright I am in. The risk of getting banned is extremely slow as long as we don't try to crash the server or spam the channels. We should do it on several servers since it is relatively easy and many wow players would find it fun. Have like only 10% talk in /yell and the rest with white text.

edit: we could also pvp because trust me we will be dying alot. Nothing like 10 lvl 1s trying to kill lowbies that attacked them.

Good question. Well, yeah the majority of people are in that Shattrath city in outland, but obviously we couldn't all get there since we would all be lvl1.

As far as old-world goes, most people seem to hang out at ironforge, not stormwind, though stormwind is far from dead dead.

Servers can handle the load now. It barely effects the raiders also. The only problem is spamming.

edit: I would like to suggest we make our selves PvP enabled. We will die alot anyways might as well try to get some low level alliance into fighting us.

Here's what I've come up with so far:

Server: Whisperwind (CST, PvE, has highest alliance population of any server)
Time: On a Saturday Afternoon (most people online)
Race: Undead, Trolls, or Orcs (they have the zeppelin right in the starting zones which take you right to stranglethorn vale, which is not terribly far from stormwind)
Guild Name: Undecided (maybe "Zombies 4 Ron Paul" and we could all be undeads? lol)

Why would they shoot it down? I think Blizzard encourages world events and interactions as long as it doesn't impede other people's gameplay. I would highly encourage people not to spam messages or SELL ANYTHING (including Ron Paul for President). The names and the guild can do the talking themselves.

Well I'm already a paid subscriber and play it for fun every month regardless so it's no extra money to me. I just hope they don't ban me.

I have hosting with unlimited data transfer and 3gb of space, and I could spin up a website. I would just need someone else to purchase a domain name (they are like $5/year) that is brave enough to put their name on the domain, and then point it to my hosting info.

Good idea. Yes I believe you can use the free 10-day WoW trial to do this. You won't be able to talk in any chat channels but you should still be able to join the guild and march to stormwind.

I remember when warriors were protesting changes of some sort the people who led the group got permanent bans. The people who joined in got suspended for a few days I believe.

In WoW world this is a form of civil disobedience so be prepared to pay the consequences of doing this. It could be nothing, a 1, 2 or 3 day suspension or a permanent ban. I just cannot risk the chance of getting banned, so I will have to sit this out. :o

Now if you just want to start up a guild with RP supporters, I am all for that!

They have added new things recently because of all the gold spammers using trial accounts.

I took that information directly off of blizzard's site, so I assume it's accurate.

I highly doubt they will ban you... I've done zombie marches before and actually had a GM come join us to watch the fun. They aren't all assholes these days.

So we're going alliance, right? What route are we taking to SW? There's a lot of high lvl territory between the two, unless we take the tram.

I'm going to level up a tailor as high as I can in the next few days and try to make as many Red White and Blue clothes as I can. If folks want to send mats, that'd be great. This way we can get as many folks wearing red, white and blue as possible. Maybe a few others want to do that too? Will send you her name as soon as she's created.

Okay I just made a character, her name is Lettucebfree. Everyone feel free to put me on their friends list. Soon as I get her up to LVL 5, I'll get her into SW for tailor training.

For tailoring she'll need mostly linen to start, and then wool (both are drops from humanoids) if I can get her high enough to do that by then. Also feel free to send money for thread and dyes. I can get red, white and blue clothes made at fairly low levels. It'll all be cloth, so we won't be armored well, but hey, it's the look that counts!

It's not free - about $15 per month. You can get on with a free trial, but that wouldn't let you join the RP guild. However you can just get 1 month's subscription and then cancel after that, if you'd like to join the party.

I think we do need a guild - since we're more likely to get banned if we do lots of chat channel spamming, having a guild name flying over our head gives us a way of getting our message across without getting in trouble. Naturally anyone with a trial account is welcome to walk alongside. (But if you can afford it, pay for one month.) Also it gives us more ability to have variety in our names, since there are only so many Ron Paul name combos we can come up with. I'd suggest if you can't think up a Ron Paul name then go with something reminiscent of the principles of freedom and liberty, or based on the names of the heroes of 1776.

Oh it occurs to me - when you sign up for a paid account you get your first month free. Not sure what happens if you cancel before the free month is over - whether you get charged or not.

Also it would be nice if we can come up with a guild tabard, but I think that does take money (I recall my guild master on another server saying it was somewhere around 25 gold) and I think it's a gold each to purchase it. (A phenomenal amount of money for a low level character). I wish I could send money from another server, if I could I'd fund the whole thing!

She says to tell everyone that officially right now there are no tabards because most people have had to create brand new low level characters to be the WisperWind server. So nobody can really afford them.

This is a good question - a little while ago we had thought to start in westfall, go to goldshire, then to stormwind and end in ironforge. But now I see that wowinsider says we're starting in Ironforge (which is fine with me).

The biggest problem is that the route between Ironforge by land is very dangerous to all us lowbies. But taking the tram seems sorta pale.

Suggestions would be good, and if anyone can get some high level characters to help escort us, we could do as originally planned.

The odds are slim, based upon the ToS and other bannings. We would first get a warning and worst case we might have account suspensions but I really doubt it.
In the end I have no idea though, Blizzard could be staffed by Huckabee supporters :eek:

Also a heads up for people:

To get the biggest showing possible PLEASE make a character on the Whisperwind server - 10 small rallys will get less press than one monumental one.

Most likely you should make your character a Human, Dwarf or Gnome for the closest starting point on the Alliance side. (On the Horde side, not sure.) If you make any other character race, you may have a challenge getting to the starting area on time.

If possible, PLEASE give your character a name that has something to do with Ron Paul, the Founding Fathers or the concepts in the Constitution, etc.

Please don't spam the chat servers. Those of us who play regularly want to keep our accounts, and don't want to give anyone a reason to get us banned. Nor do we want the march stopped.

Any Guild member can invite, so if you don't see me on, ask someone else - On the social tab look up "who" and look for RP Revolution in the guild name.

We'll be starting the march in Ironforge at 8:30 pm EST. From there, we'll work out the route, but we're hoping to meet up with the Horde for part of the march. Please no PvP - the message is Only Ron Paul can bring together Horde and Alliance!

For the march, it was around 250. Only about 175 made it all the way to Orgrimmar to attempt to take a blimp ride and storm the gates.

Ok, no one is mentioning this, so I will post it here. Huckabee apparently not only petitioned to get a multiple rapist go free, but wrote him letters of encouragement, while trying to hide the letters his victims were sending him to protest his being released. Huckabee wouldn't even return their calls, and as a result of Huck's work, he was released very early from a 50 year sentence. He then proceeded to rape and murder two women. Turns out, one of the young girls he had raped was a 17yo cousin of Bill Clinton's. Huckabee has been trying to bury this for years and had the letters the women wrote to him well buried. They were found, however, and the media is doing a fine job of not reporting it. The story needs to be heard:

My husband and I (level 56 and 51, respectively) have a guild on Hellscream called rEVOLutionary. We set it up a couple of months ago and then we had to quit playing for a while.
