What
On Friday, July 13th, libertarian giant Burton S. Blumert will host a fundraiser for Ron Paul after his visit to Google. “It is as if Thomas Jefferson had come back to lead us again,” says Burt. “We must support this great man and his movement for freedom, peace and prosperity. When the next quarter’s fundraising numbers are released, we want Ron to be up in the “top tier”, and you can help put him there.”

From 5:30pm to 7:00pm, there will be a champagne and canapés Private Briefing on the campaign. No press will be allowed in Burt’s luxury suite. Ron will speak, as will campaign chairman Kent Snyder, and both will answer your questions. There will be photos with Ron. Lew Rockwell will co-host.

For information or to reserve your place at the Private Briefing, where space is limited to make sure it is intimate, phone Burt at 1-800-982-7070 (office and speak with Cathy if he isn’t there) or 1-415-990-0041 (cell) or email him at burtblumert@comcast.net

Cost

Admission: A minimum donation of $1,000 per person, which also includes admission to following public Ron Paul Victory Rally at the same hotel. (Of course, the new minimum is $2,300 per person, and you will get very special recognition for that.)

I dig it. This is how the bums raise money and we should get it working for us as well.

I'd pay to have a really good photo taken with him.

My only complaint is the "space is limited" bit. Have it in the LA Coliseum if people will pay $1K apiece. Bus them in. I'll come out and carry their luggage. :D

Bussing people into a giant complex somehow takes me back to hurricane Katrina...

If you can afford the price tag, I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about Lew, Burt, and all of those guys. I paid $150 to see them in 2002, which was where I was first introduced to Ron Paul, and it was so thoroughly worth it that I cannot even express it to you.

Additionally, I think they are selling $100 tickets for a less intimate fundraiser, maybe?

This is how money is made for campaigns... I'm all for it.

Ron Paul needs to have many, many events and rallies. Raise that money Ron Paul!!!

We need everyone to help, those who can donate $2,300 and those who can only donate $10.

Exactly, remember it only takes 230 people donating only $10 to make $2300.:)

I was ignorant to who Burt is, so I thought someone else might be too. Thank you Burt for your support.

While I admit I got my photo with him for free, if I had $1,000 on hand it would go to Ron...no question. Instead I am limited to donating a little bit every time I get a paycheck. $1,000 is so worth it to be close to this great man.
