This is a fun little political quiz to take that shows you were you stand on the spectrum. I think it's pretty darn accurate.

Link to the quiz: http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Proof that most of the candidates are all the same: http://www.politicalcompass.org/usprimaries2008

Six pages of questions? And some of the questions were nonsensical, IMHO.

I ended up very libertarian, just a little to the right of center.

Try this one - 10 easy questions, two minutes and it's probably more accurate.

Try this test: http://www.okcupid.com/politics

I had a neocon friend take this test and he landed almost exactly on Osama Bin Laden. He is now starting to understand that he is a fascist and he is questioning his views. This is good news.

I didn't find it very accurate. Mostly because some of the questions should have been worded differently, and some of them are nonsensical, like FreeTraveler said.

Honestly, I've taken part in longer more accurate quizes before.
Edit: It was an okcupid quiz.

Maybe I really didn't understand the chart...

I got: You are a Social Liberal and an Economic Conservative. You are best described as a Libertarian (73e/63s). So I guess I am similar to Donald Trump and Adam Sandler if the famous people section can be trusted.

I also land between Trump and Sandler.

I land in libertarian land on all of them not far below and a little left of the anarchists.

A lot of these quizzes make the mistake of confusing my personal beliefs with my opinions on what the roles of government should be. They also inject value judgments into many of the questions, which means I often have to accept the wrong reasoning to express my agreement with the right answer.

They always put me between centrist and libertarian, which is probably fairly accurate, for what it's worth.

That's wierd, I had the same results. Right between Trump and Sandler...

Exactly, thats where the inaccuracy comes into the poll...

Not to mention, how is the socialist Kucinich more libertarian than free-markets Paul?!

Conservative libertarian, which is what I always score on these types of tests.
