Most of us here understand that all the presidential candidates are virtually carbon copies, except Ron Paul. Unfortunately, far too many people will end up casting their votes based on spin, rhetoric, etc., rather than actual voting records or personal activities.

A candidate can promise anything. They can claim to be for or against anything. But what a candidate will actually support as President can best be determined by what they have supported in the past. Various media sources do contrast the candidates, but it's usually based on the broader view of liberal vs. conservative.

We need to provide voters with an easy to read comparison of the candidates history (not statements) on each of the most important issues currently being debated. I think it would provide a clearer perspective of the genuine consistency of our candidate.

There have been a number of them created over the past months, but of course they're out of date now because they don't have an up-to-date candidate roster.

Anybody out there with an old one that they want to update?

Yep, that's the kind of comparison we need to be able to offer. However, I'd like to see additional issues that might be of concern to many voters. Such as...

- Has a realistic plan to balance the budget.
- Is willing to allow voters--not judges--to speak to moral issues like abortion, capital punishment, discrimination, drug use, and gun control.
- Has never proposed or endorsed amnesty for illegal aliens.
- Would advocate the abolishment of birthright citizenship.
- Would refuse any oversight by the United Nations.
- Would actively seek to dissolve any agency of the Federal Government not explicitly authorized by the Constitution.
- Will insist on full transparancy of past, present, and future government activities at the Federal level.

Can you imagine how the other candidates would compare on these issues? Feel free to add to the list.

There are some good comparison flyers at this site.
Look for "Republican Voterguide" and "Peace Movement Voterguide"
