So what will we be doing? I think we should launch a blog/site then have podcasts and also videos for youtube so that we can build a good base. Then I think we should expand radio with advertisements.

As far as tv goes, that's a tricky one. Public Access? I don't see a way for us to become our own channel. We should also utilize myspace, and some other sources in order to build a solid base and deliver the goods.

*let us NOT go the Alex Jones route* let's be as mainstream as possible.

The idea being discussed here is to start a new TV channel to compete with the likes of CNN and Fox News. A website will be part of that, and will probably happen first, but it will be done in support of the eventual TV channel, rather than as an end in and of itself.

The number of people who watch public access is minuscule.

It's really not that difficult to start our own channel. If we put together our own video production facilities, sets and staff for live news on the Internet, it's a small step from there to broadcasting live via satellite.
