Did anyone just hear him defend McCain by saying something along the lines of "He has less money than the Ron Paul phenomenom that is sweeping the country."

I think that's great. I believe this will be the 3rd time being interviewed by Tucker.

Thanks for that. This is going to be the best documented election cycle in history.

I'm not sure Tucker was defending McCain. The lady on there tried to snub the significance of Ron Paul's status, and then Tucker jumped it to try to reverse what she had said. I think he was trying to make Ron Paul sound like a big deal--and he is!
Don'tcha think?

For sure. He was acknowledging Ron Paul's popularity. Its almost surreal to watch!

Trust me, Tucker is our man on the inside. Tomorrow he will be asking questions and acting skeptical and at the end he'll act like Ron Paul convinced him. Its all an act, giving his viewers the ole Razzle Dazzle to convince them to back Ron Paul. This is his fourth interview with Ron Paul.

Several people have taken that approach. (The Mancow interview being a notable--and humorous--example.)

Also, I like Tucker because he seems more "innocent" and open-minded than other people with their own show (proof: he's given Ron Paul a fair trial from the beginning).
I didn't particularly care for the way he responded when Rosie talked about 9/11, though. He literally just started in with the "she's anti-American" bit, without doing any research of his own or arguing his own case. I just don't like cop-outs or unsupported declarations.

What will it take to get Ron Paul on Meet the Press?

Have we attempted an e-mail blitz on Meet the Press yet?

being from the chicago region, i hadn't heard the mancow interview until now (he used to be based out of here, now no stations here are carrying his show).. for those who want to hear the interview it's here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZrSxO9-Uww

Don't think so. I think once Ron makes it there, he's been legitimized in the old media as being 1st tier.

http://ronpaulaudio.com/ is also a good resource for Ron Paul audio files (like the Mancow interview), among a few other things.
