yeah i liked zeitgeist, and it does have a lot of facts in it but the way it tries to link everything is conspiracy.
and I've never watched loose change but i have the DVD at my house, im not big on the 9/11 stuff.

I don't understand why anyone who supports RP would promote Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist is anti-Christian and Ron Paul is a Christian and so are a huge amount of his supporters. It makes absolutely no sense to offend Ron Paul and a large segment of his supporters. All the vids that have been posted here cover everything that's in Zeitgeist (and a lot more thoroughly) with out offending the religious beliefs of Ron Paul and his supporters (not to mention the future supporters).

I watched Zeitgeist... It's very well done. I don't like or agree with everything presented in it... but it's still a great documentary.

I like to look at a documentary like Zeitgeist as information. It may be offensive to me in some respects. However, I can choose to agree or disagree with what is being presented... or research the information on my own.

I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Religious or not. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist... whatever. It's just one viewpoint. And it does touch on several key issues that are very important to supporters of Ron Paul.

I, as a Ron Paul supporter, found certain issues it dealt with very pertinent to Ron Paul and the campaign, and other parts completely irrelevant.

But I'm glad it was promoted on this site... or I'd probably never have seen it otherwise.

While there's some interesting history in it, the whole documentary is supporting the view that because the Bible says the Jews are not to return to Israel until God tells them to, that they must leave Israel, and return to their previous homelands. ie: Germany, Russia, America, etc...

The whole documentary is really quite anti-Jewish... and tries to make the case that Judaism, and the Talmud specifically, are "evil" and the root cause of the problems in the Middle East :(

This is not a good source for anyone who takes the conflict in the Middle East more seriously than a sparring match between Christianity and Judaism. It is however yet another point of view... and I wouldn't try to stop anyone from seeing it.

Movie "Zeitgeist": Illuminati Critique or Psy Op?

Their aim is to redefine reality so that the human race will serve them instead of God. This is the essence of the "New World Order."

In this perspective, it is hard to decipher the movie "Zeitgeist" which has received wide exposure on the Internet reaching beyond the conspiracy conscious.

The film is divided into three parts.

Parts II and III are generally excellent exposures of the Illuminati-controlled banking system and the Illuminati-instigated 9-11 attacks.*The film*shows how the latter provided the excuse for*fascism and how the Illuminati intend to enslave us. *

The puzzle is Part I: a vicious, gratuitous attack*on Christianity comparing it to the frauds of 9-11 and the Federal Reserve.*The film*argues that Christ was created in the mold of numerous pagan sun gods that predate him, and the historical Christ never actually existed. Stealing from Jordan Maxwell and citing Achaya, Rimpoche and John Lennon, "Zeitgeist" intones a New Age mantra: "Religion divorces man from nature. It is slavery. They use religious myths to control and manipulate society."

This is essentially the pagan message. Since they want God's job, the Illuminati's primary goal*has always been*to destroy Christianity. Another recent psy-op is Mother Teresa's confession (in letters) that she had grave doubts about her faith for most of her life. This story was front-page news in the Illuminati Zionist press where the Catholic Church is always fair game.

Is "Zeitgeist" also a psy-op? Why not hide an Illuminati message*in*an excellent anti-Illuminati documentary? After all, the 9-11 and Fed information*is already*out there. What better way to*turn the young generation*against religion?

More interesting to me is why so many smart people have such a problem with Christ's teachings. Why does the Gospel of Brotherly Love arouse so much hate?

Yes the church has been subverted and has discredited Christ. But surely we can separate Christ's teachings from the people who fail to represent them.


RELIGION

Christ's teachings give the lie to Zeitgeist's claim that he is another pagan symbol. Unlike Christ, Horus et al did not express the Spirit of God.

Millions of people experience the Sprit of God directly. They*can confirm that Christ indeed is a messenger of God. I am a (non observant) Jew and do not belong to any Christian church but even I can see this. So can Muslims and Hindus who also honor Christ.

Before I talk about Christ's teachings, I want to speak about religion in general.
Try not to zone out as you've been programmed to do.

True religion differs from paganism in that it is essentially moral in character. It is concerned with what is true and good, what is right and wrong. It worships (serves) God; not nature, not the sun. It is basically a spiritual discipline designed to attune us to God's presence and will. By necessity, it is otherworldly, i.e. it rejects the priorities of this world, mainly power, money and sex.

Instead it teaches us to aspire to spiritual ideals such as truth, justice, peace, love and beauty as the ultimate reality. Love of God makes us seek these ideals.We know God when they are self-evident to us.



(The popular image of God --*a Santa Claus who watches over us and answers our prayers -- is the straw man atheists create. How easy to reject such a juvenile concept.)



Whether we are atheists or not, we cannot escape God. God is NOT nature. God is a moral dimension.* Everything we do, everything that happens to us, falls along*a spectrum of good*to evil. We can't escape that.*



In fact, we so love God that*we are always striving for some kind of ersatz "good" (often leading to some very real evil.)

We were put on earth to do God's will, i.e. discern and implement*what is genuinely*Good. We have to be Good in order to feel good. If we don’t, we bear the consequences and have only ourselves to blame.

We have no trouble recognizing when we are hungry. Our stomach tells us. But when we are despondent, we cannot seem to trace the problem back to our soul because we're not supposed to have a soul.

The soul is as real as the stomach and the proof is that our hunger for purpose,*harmony and meaning*is just as great, and much more durable*than our hunger for pizza.*

Spiritual hunger*is what defines us as "human." Without the ability to distinguish right and wrong, we are little more than animals. The Illuminati want to define us as animals, so*they can*exploit or*destroy us.



When a culture no longer fosters a free discussion of what is true and good; when there is no longer a consensus and desire*to achieve*these ideals;**it is marked for extinction.

I don't understand why anyone who supports RP would promote Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist is anti-Christian and Ron Paul is a Christian and so are a huge amount of his supporters. It makes absolutely no sense to offend Ron Paul and a large segment of his supporters. All the vids that have been posted here cover everything that's in Zeitgeist (and a lot more thoroughly) with out offending the religious beliefs of Ron Paul and his supporters (not to mention the future supporters).

I've seen it 3 times and totally disagree with you.
I really liked it (and yes I understand there was some unsubstantiated speculation, especially in the first part).
I think it was very well-done and had a lot of things that at minimum make you think. Don't forget, over half of Ron Paul's support is coming from athiests, so obviously RP being Christian is not a big deal to most supporters.

I loved Why We Fight, except for the ending.
In the end, the narrator concludes that all of the problems with the military-industrial complex are caused by capitalism. Seemed strange since the movie exposed how evil the congress is. I would have accepted corporatism as an answer, but it seems that the makers of this film are nothing but socialists!

not sure what category but I highly recommend Street Fight about the 2002 Newark mayorial race. It may be eye opening to some to see how dirty politics can really get - for example, the incumbent uses police to harass business owners, rip down campaign signs, pays to bus in 'supporters', etc.

Given what we're part of right now, it's worth seeing the kind of stuff we'll likely be up against.

I've just finished watching The War on Democracy - John Pilger.

Over decades, American governments have supported attemps to overthrow democratically elected governments in South America resulting in the horrific torture and death of thousands of innocent people.

Very good documentary, explains why we don't need to be in any country at all. Charles Lewis makes a mistake though saying this is the result of capitalism (referring to the military-industrial-complex), it's not capitalism, but corporatism, where government is in bed with colorations.

From the war on drugs, to the war on communism, to the war on terrorism...pretty much "the war on...whatever" is a total failure and does nothing to provide freedom or peace around the world and here in the US. The war on terrorism will change to a different name in the future if we let this continue to happen. The name may change, the tactics won't change.

The occupation one is very sad.. Very rarely do North Americans see the palestinian side of things.. The Jews supress them so badly that young children want to literally commit suicide..

When people hear these people suicide bombed a club in Israel, the media makes us think they are evil terrorists.. When the fact of the matter is these people are just so desperate that they are driven to that.. It's a sign of desperation.. Not predetermined evil.

What a great list. I have watched a lot of them. I personally have to watch these in small doses. Sometimes the reality of what we are up against is overwhelming. My life has been a rollercoaster since waking up last April. The joy, pride, anger, frustration, sadness, hope, fear, patriotism and on the contrast shame for what my country has done and become can be truly overwhelming. I guess it is like post 9/11.. I watched so much coverage that I felt very depressed. For a few days I just watched comedy or something unrelated to regroup a bit.

Just make sure you watch a good uplifting video like Ron Paul New Hope inbetween to keep you positive!

not sure what category but I highly recommend Street Fight about the 2002 Newark mayorial race. It may be eye opening to some to see how dirty politics can really get - for example, the incumbent uses police to harass business owners, rip down campaign signs, pays to bus in 'supporters', etc.

Given what we're part of right now, it's worth seeing the kind of stuff we'll likely be up against.
