I had hoped we would have outgrown the obsession with the MSM by now. What good is writing about Paul, if all they are going to do is report his low poll #s?

The only thing that matters right now is a top 3 finish in Iowa and a top 2 finish in NH. This campaign will either get started in 2 weeks, or it will meekly be crawling into Super Tuesday having verified that Dr. Paul is no better than a 3rd or 4th candidate, in a race with only one winner.

Time to get serious about the things that matter. Has everyone here registered to vote? Registered Republican? Registered their family members? Know what day their caucus/primary is? Have you arranged time off of school/work, and transportation?

I was just at Kroger and noticed the last weeks edition of Time Magazine at the checkout (Forgive me if this is a repost...I did a quick search and didn't see anything about this issue). As you can see from the cover the focus of the article is the GOP race. So I start skimming through. There were multiple articles about the GOP race, such as, "Can anyone win this thing?", "Huckabee Rising", "Rudy: All Business", and "The Run of an Also Ran". Not one mention of Ron Paul. Not even in the "also ran" article. They even write about Tancredo and Brownback in that article. Left Ron Paul out entirely in the "Can Anyone Win This Thing?" article only focusing on the "five major candidates". I'm not surprised...just aghast that Time can consider this honest reporting of the GOP race.

Even look at this quote in "The GOP Race: None of the above" by Michael Duffy

Ummmmm....Helloooo!!! Earth to Michael Duffy and Time Magazine!!! This would have been a perfect opportunity to talk about Paul...they even quote Mark Sanford who has a record of being the only other "No" vote on many bills when they were both in Congress together! Talk about dishonest reporting. I shouldn't be surprised considering they picked Vladamir Putin, of all people, as their Person of the Year. :o

Yeah. I rarely ever let the MSM get to me but we do hold some power here too. They have to keep up their sham and we have the power to expose them and pressure them into at least some amount of accuracy. I don't want to take on the MSM as a whole but there are some battles where it is worth it to pressure them publicly.
