You guys probably thought of this (and everything) already, but if not then I have an idea for the Iowa project:
While we are campaigning in Iowa, let's ask people if we can put Ron Paul signs in their yard, and do it. At least in the high traffic areas. That way, when we convert one voter, we're not just converting one voter at a time but we are also getting Ron Paul's name out and encouraging the Iowans who drive by his house.
I don't know if it's practical to carry a load of street signs with us door-to-door, but what we CAN do is take down people's addresses, and then we can drive by later on the way home and put up Ron Paul street signs.
This guy got 11 out of 22 homes on a busy street to agree to signs:
