To help promote this, I suggest supporters of RP's Payday add a link to the site in their forum - and email(s)? - signature.

Here are the instructions for those who don't know how to do this:

Along the top of this forum are several tabs, white text on dark blue background.
* Click User CP --> Edit Signature
* Type the signature you'd like.
* Preview, then Save when you're satisfied with your signature.

After you've saved your signature,
* Click Edit Options
* Scroll down to Thread Display Options
* Make sure Show Signature is checked

The payday idea is pretty neat. I found the federal tax section to be quiet comical.

I posted the below comment at a different Grassroots Central thread, "The REAL final money bomb":

"The REAL final "big" money bomb should be organized only after Super Tuesday in February, to whip up an explosion of voter and financial support from the newer supporters that will result from our successes at the polls.

It like the others will need a theme that deeply resonates. I would suggest Federal Income Tax filing deadline on Tuesday, April 15th. Coincident with the fundraising, we could have sign waves at post offices as people drop off returns to meet the deadline, and then rally massively at midnight to celebrate the fundraising result.

Before that big final money bomb, though, I submit that we must focus on a more immediate goal: full and continuously growing funding of the campaign efforts leading up to Super Tuesday. The campaign has to pay for advertising and promotion with a lead time of several weeks, and we cannot afford the stop-start syndrome in fundraising associated with money bombs at this juncture. Also, we need to concentrate on measuring, reporting, and building on goals for the number of New Donors.

Another forum participant (skolwulf) is organizing an effort to provide for the immediate needs of the campaign that he calls "Ron Paul's Payday". It is starting to get a lot of positive attention on YouTube and Digg. Please go to the links in my signature below to see a video explaining more of his concept, and the website that is already up. Also, there is now a subforum in Grassroots Projects.

Thank you in advance for checking out the links below. This is really important. We need to make the Payday concept go viral.
