Well our dust-up in Orlando, Fl has hit the internet. An internet website that collects news stories featured our brush with arrest on July 4th. WWW.Rawstory.com is not as big as the Drudge Report, but it does have it's following. Check out this link.

Then go ahead and 'digg it' this will put it up at the top of the heap of news stories on the digg site." If you want to see pictures go http://ronpaul.meetup.com/184/photos/

You want to know how I heard about this? The company that I order buttons and bumper stickers from called me up. The owner gets on the telephone and says 'is that you on the rawstory web site?' We talk and of course I plug Ron Paul a lot. He says he's thinking about voting for him! Also he says "Ron Paul stuff is flying out of here; and McCain--phttt--nobody is ordering that stuff." And this guy is a huge seller on ebay and the internet. Great prices, great service.

Check him out too

Dugg. I like his buttons. He needs to switch to the "good" pic of Ron Paul discussed earlier threads.

Did you order any of his stickers? They look nice too.

Great job on the campaigning. It's just so sad that this is what the country has come to. But hey, at least the booths are cheap in Orlando, here in Houston they were $3,000 and they wouldn't even consider our group getting one for anything "political". LOL! Our solution was to set up outside the entrance- we only got hassled by the Federal Reverse security who didn't want us taking pictures of their building.

Shameless plug of our video:

I recommend having a video camera for events.

Keep up the great work!

Bryan why didn't you fight it like we did. For future reference, start calling the newspapers and other media. Frame the story like we did which is not that Ron Paul supporters are thwarted, but rather that this is the 4th July and about our country's struggle for freedom. Darn it, I'm sick and tired of having to beg for my civil liberties. Too often we just give in. Don't do that. You call every reporter out there and tell them this stinks. What ever you do ALWAYS think, what is the larger picture of what we are doing. That is NEWS and that is what the media covered.

In this particular event, more often than not I had people say, 'I'm not so sure about this Ron Paul guy, but you guys are right.' Now most people that said this added that they would 'look into Ron Paul.' But the point is, if you want to get media coverage of your activity (and you should) think very carefully of how to talk to the media. You want to show them that what you are doing has relevance to lots of their readers/viewers/etc. This is text book public relations.
