I liked the interview. I like the size of the time window and I liked that Ron Paul was allowed to elaborate on his positions. In part 4, however, when the Huckabee question was asked, it sounded awefully like Ron is dancing around the issue, instead of directly answering the question.

I hope there are more one hour interviews for this guy.

YEEEESSSSS!

Man I was so uneasy for this interview but he nailed it... Russert had nothing on him... HAHA

WTH? Be Safe on the campaign trail?

I thought the same thing...is he telling Ron to start wearing a vest?

Ron nailed that he didn't let Russert get away with anything. Great interview!

Ron's appearance on Meet the Press was GOD-LIKE!

I was very surprised, Tim Russert really pulled out quite a few surprises, and honestly, I felt all his questions were professional. I haev a much greater respect for him now. He didn't even ask about the contribution.

Ron Paul was OK, but I think Russert exposed many more attack points... he really did his homework.

Very impressive interview, tough, yet fair.

I've always had a lot of respect for Russert. He doesn't go easy on anyone, and it would have disappointed me if he had gone easy on Paul. Thankfully, Paul was able to hit every question out of the park!

Russert is really good at making the silliest things sound like legitimate questions.

MR. RUSSERT: You say you're a strict constructionist of the Constitution, and yet you want to amend the Constitution to say that children born here should not automatically be U.S. citizens.

Dr. Paul handled that question really well, but I think he could have handled the earmarks question better. He was too baffled by Russert's inability to see that there was no contradiction, and so his answer might not have come across as clear to people who had not heard about this issue before.
