yes it played today, infomercial style, didn't have time to catch much of it though as I was in a group of people who all wanted to find something we could all watch

Real risky move in terms of cost effectiveness. I hope it pays off.

Given that the campaign is taking this approach, you have to assume they consider first place in Iowa achievable - that they derivatively believe first place here is immeasurable - and that they are spending accordingly to 'lock it in'.

I wouldn't sweat it, more money bombs on the way. We seem to be gaining 50%/mo more with each one.

I don't think they invested 10 million on this ad

The Ops infomercial was already on the books before the 10 million promotion. This is not it.

Nice.

Sedate, with clean production, not something that would get me "fired up", but I realize that is not the purpose but rather to inform the uninformed.

Iowa is a funky state. Hard to gauge where voters might go. Im glad to see the campaign SPENDING THE MONEY.

Its not RP's first rodeo. We all know how smart he is.. Ive got complete confidence that RP has it under control. We still have time. Not much.. but the word is out.

Im sick of the word poll. 90% of the people I poll are going to vote for Ron Paul. The other 10% are just a**holes.

I forgot this was on today, but I caught it while I was flipping channels at work. I sell TV's at Sears, so I put the one TV that we have hooked up to an antenna on the infomercial. There were no customers and none of my coworkers were really interested in watching it. The weather was really horrible today so hopefully a bunch of people stayed home and maybe caught this. It took me 50 minutes to get home, a drive that normally takes less than 15 min. Scariest drive of my life, could not see where I was going at all and no traction.

Was it on a major channel? What time was it on at? I had been under the impression they were playing it tomorrow at 11:30 and 12.

It was on CBS. So, yes a major channel. It was on broadcast and cable, so a ton of people were reached by this. This was at 6:30 I believe. I think they are also playing it on a couple channels tomorrow around noon.
